I was surprised that the initial cost estimate for the body work needed to repair the rear-end collision my car suffered was so far off from the final cost. The estimate was only about half of what the insurance company was billed for. The work done was evidently well done, and the car has run fine since. But I have a gnawing wonder if I was bait in a money trap, since the crash was clearly the fault of the other (impaired) driver. More
