First of all, my association with Lima Auto Mall was First of all, my association with Lima Auto Mall was totally initiated through internet searches for the year vehicle I wanted with the laundry list First of all, my association with Lima Auto Mall was totally initiated through internet searches for the year vehicle I wanted with the laundry list of options I wanted and especially the color I was looking for. Being a late 2012 model used car, not too many were available in a 100 mile radius of my location with my above mention criteria. I thought I had used every "auto finder" search engine when I was informed about Car Gurus.com. A dealer I was working with on a deal, in the Dayton, Ohio area, shared with me "how far below market value" they were on the vehicle we were dealing on. He turned his monitor around to show me the CarGurus screen with the their car and 3 or 4 above it was the color vehicle I actually wanted. It was at Lima Auto Mall. Me being of very unprofessional nature, I called Lima Auto Mall while sitting at the Dayton area dealer's desk. Mr. David Osbon took my call inquiry. I am a Quality Assurance Manager, and what I would describe as very black and white in personality. I told Dave Osbon I had no interest in driving an hour and a half to look at a car that may be beat to death. We had some price discussion by phone and I asked him to wait until daylight and take pictures of any defects in the paint or scuff marks in the interior. The next morning I received multiple pictures of any defects he could find. I found that to be unusually amazing. Later when he knew I was driving up to see it, he had the car cleaned up and found more of what he had missed as far as defects and emailed more pics. I found that to be meeting or exceeding customer expectation. Truly amazing! On the way to Lima Auto Mall, I stopped and refamiliarized myself with all defects on the car I was dealing in Dayton for comparative purposes. When I arrived at Lima Auto Mall, the car was sitting out front, detailed nicely. I looked at it closely while making a few trips around it. Then Dave Osbon came out and I actually had to have him point out some of the "defects" he had sent pics of. Total experience summary: 1) I give credit to the dealer in Dayton for being open and honest enough with his pc monitor to risk losing a sale. Which he did. 2) It was most enlightening and actually humorous to me that I had a salesman, Dave Osbon, email me only pictures of defects on the car I wanted. That totally captured my confidence. 3) Lima Auto Mall already had the vehicle priced to move. They were where I wanted to be before we began discussing price. I purchased the vehicle for even less. They smoked all Dayton area dealers making the trip more than worth the trip. 4) Their business manager, Tod Kitchen, was professional, courteous and actually educated me on the current methods of doing car sales business in the internet age. 5) For me, times have changed immensly. There are absolutely no complaints from me about the whole experience. 6) I highly recommend doing business with Lima Auto Mall! Mr. Osbon and Mr. Kitchen went way above and beyond the call of duty. 7) And, most importantly for me, all preparation to make this a "one trip" event, if I wanted the car, was put in place between myself and Lima Auto Mall before I made the trip. Awesome! Yeah, I bought the vehicle. 8) Staying local to purchase a vehicle, though convenient if possible, is a thing of the past for me personally. Lima Auto Mall converted me. And now the negative: 1) After looking at the vehicle when I arrived at the dealership and being totally satisfied, we walked in the double doors to be greeted by two 2014 Corvettes. A red and a black. This caused a "distemper like", reaction with white frothy drool emitting from my mouth. It took me awhile to get back on track with why I was there. One last comment, I DON'T WRITE LONG COMMENTARIES because I'm bored. Lima Auto Mall, Dave Osbon and Tod Kitchen deserved a very good review. Thanks you two.... More
It has been less than 24 hrs. since we brought our vehicle home, but we are over the moon with the vehicle, the service, and the price. Treg is very friendly and knowledgeable. After an intense Internet search we identified five cars that we were interested in. All of our search criteria were satisfied with the vehicle at Lima Auto Mall. I was desperately seeking a GMC Acadia that was within my company's budget and my time to find one was limited as I was driving a rental. I saw one on The Lima Auto Mall website and called about it the foll company's budget and my time to find one was limited as I was driving a rental. I saw one on The Lima Auto Mall website and called about it the following morning. Dave was lucky enough to take my call and verified that the Acadia was there and was still for sale. It hadnt even been detailed yet as they had just gotten it in. I told Dave I was driving over from out of town and would be there in an hour and a half. When I arrived at the dealership, Dave was there to greet me. We took the Acadia out for a test drive and it was awesome! I had Dave write up a proposal and back to the office I went. The proposal was approved within an hour of me returning to my office and I called Dave to let him know. I wasnt sure when I could make it back to Lima due to work committements that week and that is when Dave gave me even better news- he would personally deliver the Acadia to me. Three days later, Dave arrived in my parking lot with the Acadia, went through all of the paper work with me and gave me a tutorial on all of the features of the vehicle. I couldnt have been happier. Well worth my time to drive to the LIma Auto Mall. More

Three days later she gets her car back with a $3300+ dollar bill. This is an 89 year old woman that trusts you to take care of her car, I ask her what was repaired; her answer a tire, they worked on the brakes and changed the oil. If the person doesn't understand what you are doing then that is not licence to go ahead and blindly conduct the work. So what did we do, change all the gaskets because a little oil was seeping! Wow she barely drives 3000 miles a year is this really something that affected the safety of the car. Whoever is involved with this should be ashamed! Is this how you would treat an elderly member of your family or would you take the time to truly make sure they had all the options available to them? Why cant you guys just be the "white Knights" and just do the right thing. This is now the second incident in which her interests were not handled correctly by your establishment, the first of which required me to contact General Motors directly to get them to cover the cost on a known faulty part that would have cost her over $1200.00. Reputation folks is all yours I have no control over it, but you do! Thanks for looking out for your customers........I hope somebody enjoys their commission from this deal because after 7 New car purchases and countless service.......this will be the last penny your dealership will receive! Update: I have talked with the dealership and was told you will either not like us less or not like us at all when everything is done; way to set your standards in customer service high! End result no resolution, no offer to try and make anything right. I stopped in Lima Auto Mall to look at a 2013 Z71. I already knew what package I wanted and knew what price I would be willing to pay for this vehicle. Arron did not hesitate to walk up and say hello and discuss the vehicle with me. Throughout the evening Arron and I spent alot of time together (4 hours) trying to put toghter a deal that would work for both myself and the dealership. Arron was very patient, polite and professional and did not try to put me in a vehicle that I did not want nor could not afford. There was no "pushy salesman syndrom". We finally agreed on a price and breezed through teh finalization process. Arron did a great job of explaining the truck functions and details. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great vehicle at a good price to stop in Liman Auto Mall and ask for Arron.. More
