I normally don't leave negative reviews until management has had a chance to make it right, but as the general manager has yet to reply to my complaint, despite numerous attempts to reach him, this is a spe has had a chance to make it right, but as the general manager has yet to reply to my complaint, despite numerous attempts to reach him, this is a special case. Not long ago they replaced the rear window and third brake light on my truck. Now it is leaking again. I can pour water on the left and right corners and water will drip down the inside of the cab. I took it in for the window seal to be inspected and repaired. They emailed me to say the antenna (center-rear on the roof) is "damaged" and "loose". They claim that is the source of the leak and wanted nearly $800 to replace it. I contested as there was no visible damage to the antenna, nor did it "wiggle" in the manner they described. In fact, it still doesn't. Also, I already verified the leak is coming from the corners, below and nowhere near the antenna. There's no water damage to the headliner as would be expected with a leak on the roof. I went in to meet the service manager (or who I was told was the service manager) and said, "The estimate says the source of my leak is the antenna. Dude...." Before I could finish my sentence and explain, he cut me off, exclaiming, "Bring his truck up, I'm not going to sit here and listen to this attitude." There was no attitude. "You're sitting there saying dude and I won't have that attitude. Let's step outside." He was just immediately dismissive and hostile. Outside I again tried to explain to him that the corners leak when you pour directly on those corners, no where near the antenna. Several times I had to tell him to stop laughing and rolling his eyes at me. At one point he stepped uncomfortably close to me in a clear intimidation tactic. I had to tell him to step back, to which he again laughed in my face. I told him, "If you can explain to me how water poured in the corner can run up hill, under the antenna, through the bolt seal, resist gravity and run along the inside of the roof without dripping on the headliner, then down the brake light and along the inside of the window to the same location it started from, then I'll pay for that antenna". He finally admitted that there "is likely" more than one leak, but they will repair the antenna first. I told him no. If there is more than one problem with the truck, I get to decide what gets fixed first, not them. It's my vehicle and it's my money. Window seal first, then we discuss the antenna. He told me, "We aren't going to check your window until you have the antenna replaced. Our repair first, then your concern." What? Ignore my concern until I pay for something I didn't ask for? I asked him if they removed the third brake light to visually verify the antenna was leaking, he said no. He condescendingly told me they know more than I do and didn't need to check. I told him I want the verifiable leak in the window repaired before we discuss a hypothetical leak they hadn't actually seen. The whole time I had to keep raising my voice as he ignored me, cut me off or laughed. I even asked him, "Kindly bring me a bottle of water and I will show you what I'm talking about, because clearly there is some miscommunication." Laugh. Roll the eyes. Condescending remark about him having more experience than me. I never screamed at him. I never threw things. I never made threats. I never cursed. Not once. Even when I raised my voice I called him "sir." and I only raised my voice when he cut me off or dismissed me with a wave of his hands. Instead of bringing me the bottle of water, he said, "Take your keys. Lithia doesn't want your money and we don't want your business. Leave." I took the truck home, verified there is no visible damage to the antenna, poured water all over it, then sent a borescope above the headliner to find the antenna area bone dry. No leak. I took the truck to a trusted mechanic and he concurred. Now I have to drive a town over to another dealership to have this WARRANTY ISSUE fixed since Lithia would rather raid my pockets than honor the warranty. I find out now that the man my service rep told me was the "service manager", according to their website and this one, is NOT the service manager. Go figure. Maybe the actual service manager is a stand up, professional guy, but I wouldn't know as my attempts to reach him have also gone ignored. For a week now I have called, emailed and even messaged Lithia through facebook trying to reach the general manager. Every time they refuse to give me his number/ email and instead tell me they will have him contact me. It's been a week. The only response I've received from Lithia is an email saying, "As a valued customer we'd like to offer you free carfax reports for the life of your vehicle!" That was an added insult I didn't need.
