It was a fairly standard exchange with a few very bad situations. I got messages from Kia Finance that my payment was overdue. I was upset because I was not aware they did not send the payment out righ situations. I got messages from Kia Finance that my payment was overdue. I was upset because I was not aware they did not send the payment out right away. I called the dealership and the person I talked to was fairly abrupt with a rude semi explanation. My concern was not addressed as being serious. My credit is very serious to me. I called Kia Finance after receiving another notice. They told me to call the GM. That dealership and Kia Finance did not co mingle so they could not help with my issue. They did note my account to stop sending me notices. I called for the GM. Was told he was in a meeting and would return my call in about 3 hours. He never returned my call. NEVER . That exhibits poor character in my opinion. And shows he doesn’t care about the customer after they made a purchase. I followed up with a third call a week later and talked someone in finance. Once again rude and his explanation was lacking as well. I was told they are sent out after the new financing is approved. If we were waiting for that why did I take the car. I had approval from Wells Fargo before I left the lot. Also said I was told when signing my paperwork. I would be happy to go in and review the videos taken to clarify one way or another. All in all I am extremely disappointed and don’t even want to take my new to me car there for oil changed and repair that I prepaid for via warranty. After talking to a friend I was told he had the same experience. And after reading reviews and the BBB complaints I see this is a common occurrence. Additionally I found paperwork in the glove box from the previous owners. Including financing from their purchase and pay stubs. The social security. Address. DOB we’re all there. A person could have made some real criminal acts with that info. The dealership was not very concerned so I put it thru the shredder and disposed of it. That is unforgivable. The detailers did not even look at what was in the glove box. I only found some coins and a kitchen knife in the back where the spare tire would be. Indicating they also did not look back there. The kitchen knife would have been hard to miss if they had looked. There was only one key given to me. It would have been nice to have been offered a second key at the dealerships expense after spending almost 30,000,00. In conclusion - I will not recommend Lokey to anyone I know. . More

lokey needs to upgrade their telephone system.set it up so that when you call the service dept. you get directly connected to the service depy, instead of to the sales dept. you end up holding for 10-20 mi so that when you call the service dept. you get directly connected to the service depy, instead of to the sales dept. you end up holding for 10-20 mins or more. often someone hangs up on you and the process begins all over again when you call back.
