Your technicians gave me a $4k list of repairs I allegedly needed. I was pleasantly surprised, walked in and greeted by Michael Knight. Very courteous and knowledgeable young salesperson. Didn't receive complete honesty on the used vehicle I purchased. I asked for a carfax report, I was told they couldn't print one for me, Instead sales representative pulled it up on his phone and started purchased. Told that the previous owner was in a couple small fender benders nothing major and also told me that the previous owner stayed up with his services and that he had a Really good service records. The next step was sales representative asked us if I needed anything done to this vehicle. I said yes. The two front tires needed to match the rear tires. Take care of the paint on the step bar, wanted the the the vehicle to go through service for any service maintenance that hasn't been done to be done, filters. Fluids and check the brake squealing noise in the right front wheel while braking. He said no worries everything will be taken care of any maintenance that has not been done yet by the service recommendations will be addressed. He told us that Lokey Nissan we do a riggerious inspection on every used vehicle if something wasn't serviced that needed to be serviced will be done. Also siad that I wanted the vehicle detailed and that the inside of the bed was needing a serious cleaning. Told sales that I will pick up my truck after the two tires are replaced, gone through service and detail. Sales said no problem. So we said okay great and preceded to purchase this vehicle. Waited a week to pick my vehicle up to give them ample time to get these things handled. So after they told me the tires were done, service and detail are all set. When I picked my truck up I asked for a printed carfax, they got me one with all the other paperwork. I took the paperwork and Drove the truck home, after I returned home I started to read the car fax seeing the only maintenance done was oil changes and that the starter was replaced also in the carfax is that this vehicle has been in 3 accidents two minor and one was a medium hit with structure damage. I called rhe service department and asked what services were done on this vehicle before I took possession of this vehicle. Service told me just the oil was changed. The idle was really high, I pulled the air filter out and noticed it was completely black so black I don't think it has ever been changed. Vehicle has 37k on it. So they lied about the carfax, lied about having all the services done and lied about looking at the brakes because they are still squealing and lied about a complete detail because the bed of the truck.was a mess the interior wasn't clean, the roof rain channels where black, it's a white truck. The speaker grilles were totally filthy the navigation screen display was completely filthy. After changing the air filter idle is normal now. The started was replaced do the previous owner complaining about the vehicle starting hard. I think the only issue was the air filter being so filthy that the vehicle couldn't get a good fuel air mixture to start the vehicle, so it started hard. Finance felt rushed and promises that didn't show up in writing, was told that Lockey was giving us 84 months of free maintenance. Oil changes are lifetime with all used cars bought with lockey as advertised. so this would be cabin, air filter top off fluids and tire rotation. and 2 year warranty on transmission and engine warranty. I bought a fidelity technical package warranty and didn't realize that they signed me up for a 74 plus maintenance warranty with fedility do to us being pressure to hurry up and sign the paperwork stating he was running out of time to lock this finance deal in. Believing what he was telling us was the truth and that it would be all in there in writing but it wasn't.. nice guys but we felt like we're taken advantage of. More
