update on this horrible dealerships Three in half weeks after I returned the car I had to go register my car that I had before I went to this dealer. When I got there to register my car Three in half weeks after I returned the car I had to go register my car that I had before I went to this dealer. When I got there to register my car the lady at the DMV told me that my car was still showing that I had the 2014 Honda Civic I was going to buy from this dealer. then she tells me that if I get stopped by the cops I could be arrested for driving with pleats that belong to another car. I call the dealership and I speak to the finance guy and he tells me that they had released my tags already which was not true I had to go back to the DMV and get them to give me a printed out copy of what showed on the DMV records after effects after emailing several people at the dealer and having to threaten action against the dealership it was finally done after 3 days of dealing with dealership, DMV an the Pinellas Sheriff's Office I finally got a reply from this dealership everyone there just likes just likes to pass the buck not fair to the consumers that go there for service if they get your money then they don't even know you anymore for anyone who reads this post stay away from this dealership very unprofessional and customer service is non existent. Horrible Everything Worst Car Dealer Ever....... Stay away. I will start by saying that I went in there with all my cards on the table and told them I had bad credit and I knew it would not be easy. But aft I will start by saying that I went in there with all my cards on the table and told them I had bad credit and I knew it would not be easy. But after talking for days I found a Co-signer and gave them all the information they ask for to make a very long story short I had driven off the lot with the car and after a week of having the car I had to return it due to the miscommunication between the Finance person and dealer and I think one of the Managers no body seem to talk to each other. No one is on the same page. Thank God I had not gotten rid of my old car because I would have been walking and in the state of FL not doable. Please ware of this place they have no clue on what they are doing and no one there is in charge they just pass the buck. The sad part was seeing my 11 year daughters eyes fill with tears when I told her I had to return the car. makes a Mom feel like a loser because no one there could just tell me exactly what they needed to make the deal work. Heart broken MOM. More

Starts great, ends as a joke. Great service advisor. Actual work appears to be a joke. When attempting to sort out the issue and ultimately give them more money, no response from d Great service advisor. Actual work appears to be a joke. When attempting to sort out the issue and ultimately give them more money, no response from dealer. Save yourself the headache and just go to a different dealer. Full story below. Started off fantastic. Spoke with Brian who worked with me and told me about all the repairs they were quoting for my vehicle (some $3000+ of them). He got me a loaner car as they were going to be unable to fix my car that day which I greatly appreciated and he didn't have to do. Brian seemed to do a great job. After I left is when it apparently went downhill, the car was supposed to be done on a Monday, never hear anything, must just be taking an extra day, call in, don't hear anything, they finally return my call and let me know it will be done at some point. Car is finally done 4 days late, seems odd for a professional service department only working on vehicles like mine, but whatever I had the loaner so it was ok. Come in to find out they managed to break my alternator somehow while doing a thermostat replacement and oil change, seems strange, but I look past it as Brian was very nice and I got the loaner, and i really just want to leave with my $700 dollar repair. It is not mentioned as to why the repair took so long I can only speculate that it was due to the extra damages. They of course cover the alternator. Drive away thinking man it feels different. I assume hey, this was the dealer, this is how it is supposed to feel, this is all the new fluids working. Felt like I had lost some power, again assumed it was supposed to feel this way. Couple weeks later, new MIL, turbo underboost, no wonder I had a loss of power. Call in and speak with an operator about this issue and to be contacted by their customer relations person. She is very nice and empathetic, states I will receive a call or email as I requested. No such contact. I did not ask them to cover these new issues nor did I state it was there fault, just looking to find out what the issue and see if this is related to the previous service. To work together like adults. No such luck. Very disappointed as the dealer is supposed to be the best of the best. More
My experience with Lokey was horrible. Your service manager (Dale Krutzik) and the mechanic (Brett) was obviously trying to rip me off. I spoke with Dale several times on the phone before having my ca manager (Dale Krutzik) and the mechanic (Brett) was obviously trying to rip me off. I spoke with Dale several times on the phone before having my car towed in to the service department. He continuously reassured me that it was just a battery that I needed, that all the signs my car was showing was from a dead battery. Once there he continued to say it was the battery, don't worry. After being there an hour, he came back with $6000 worth of repairs. These were written on a normal estimate sheet with your letterhead. He said that I had to do at least $5000 worth of repairs in order to even drive the car out of the service department. He claimed I had a bad battery, alternator, several hoses, brake booster hose, valve cover gaskets, and several other things. I was shocked and asked him to give me a written estimate that I could show my spouse. He said that he could not give me the estimate on the paper he had written it up on but he would type in on another page for me. He did type it on a plane white piece of paper with no date, letter head or signature of any kind. He then took me into the garage to show me my car which was apart in pieces. He showed me a thimble shaped part with a hole in it and said it was an important part of my engine and that the car could not run without it. He said the engine was boring a hole through this important part. He also told me that oil was leaking from my Turbo cut off valve into the computer brain and would short circuit the whole car if I did not get that fixed. He introduced me to Brett, the mechanic, and said that I should only talk to him or Brett if I call in to the service department. I told him I could not afford these repairs. He said that he would be off work the next day and I should not speak with the other department manager, either wait until he returned of talk with Brett only. I felt they were both very shady. I felt they were both trying to take advantage of me being a woman by myself at the dealership. My father was a mechanic and my brother is a district manager for "Just Breaks" I spoke with both of them and read the list to them and they told me they believed that Lokey was trying to rip me off and I should tow it out of there and take it to another mechanic. I did tow it on Monday. I went over the list with the new mechanic. He checked everything on the estimate given to me by Dale. My battery was fine. I did need an alternator. Nothing else on the list was wrong with my car. My repairs were $600 instead of $6000. My car is running great. I am posting this experience to every review website that I can find. I hope I can help other women from getting robbed at your business. More
The first time I took my car to Lokey Volkswagen for service, I brought my car home and it leaked oil all over my garage. Strike one! I brought the car back so they could correct the problem. They said service, I brought my car home and it leaked oil all over my garage. Strike one! I brought the car back so they could correct the problem. They said it would take 45 minutes, but instead I waited for 4 hours. Strike two! The third time I took my car for an oil change, I picked it up and noticed a huge dent in the driver side door. Someone in their service department dented the car and never brought it to my attention. Luckily I saw the dent before taking the car home. Strike three! This service department is the worst I've seen, and I will never go back. I'd rather drive 40 minutes to the next closest Volkswagen dealership for my service. More
I had a Phaeton which was serviced at Lokey VW for the past two years. Service was always done as scheduled/promised, ride back/forth to the dealer to make it easy. Dale was excellent at finding a service past two years. Service was always done as scheduled/promised, ride back/forth to the dealer to make it easy. Dale was excellent at finding a service solution that would solve the problem without busting my budget. Car always washed and cleaned when i picked it up. I am used to a high level of service from BMW and MBZdealers, and Lokey VW did an excellent job as well. More

Stay away from this dealership . Waisted whole day there , waited 5 hrs just to sign papers and close the deal . When we went in office to close the deal the manager Hugo was so presuring us to buy extra wa , waited 5 hrs just to sign papers and close the deal . When we went in office to close the deal the manager Hugo was so presuring us to buy extra warenty gap insurance this and that and he kept droping price for it and finaly we said yes . It was ok paying 8 dollars more per month for extra warenty and gap insurance . Exsauseted and hungry we just wanted to finish and go home . Well thats when he changed our payments from 72 to 75 without letting us know . Came home after few days i looked at the paperwork and i found out about 75 months term. I purchased a new Tuareg a few months ago and was delighted with the product. On reviewing the paperwork later at home I was disturbed that the verbal discount had not been included and of course i delighted with the product. On reviewing the paperwork later at home I was disturbed that the verbal discount had not been included and of course in the melee of taking out extra coverage and the excitement of picking up a new vehicle I drove off paying the full price. This type of treatment (an existing customer) makes me think of all the used car salesman jokes, but Lokey presents itself as an up front dealership. I felt I should comment on my experiences just in case it is a trend in the sales team. I hope not, I cannot praise the service group enough. More
