I highly recommend Lokey Volkswagen! Alessio, my sales person, was great. He gave me the information I needed and was a pleasure to interact with. What impressed me the most about Howard was his extensive knowledge about the different car models and their features. He was able to answer all of my questions and provide valuable insights that helped me make an informed decision. I purchased a 2019 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Sport on Dec 14th, 2023. The overall sales experience was pleasant. The sales staff was awesome. I left the vehicle there for a week so they could prep the vehicle b 2023. The overall sales experience was pleasant. The sales staff was awesome. I left the vehicle there for a week so they could prep the vehicle before I took possession of it. They were kind enough to give me a vehicle to use in the meantime. The detailing staff I'd rate zero if possible, the outside wash was basic, and the inside wipe down/vacuum was non existent. It was very evident this vehicle was stuck in the mud at one point. I pulled the skid plate off (required for oil changes) and there were clumps of mud everywhere around the transfer case, transmission, and inside the cross braces. I had to clear the mud out using an air compressor and screw driver (to break up the dried mud). Seeing this leads me to wonder if the oil was even changed, because of the dried mud all over the place. When I lifted the back seats, there were lolly pop sticks, french fries and other trash. All someone had to do was lift the seat and vacuum it. I purchased the vehicle. As mentioned I purchased the vehicle (did not finance) on 14 Dec 23. To this date, I still don't have the title, and the temporary registration expired on 14 Jan 24. I called to have another one mailed to me, and I still don't have it (23 Jan). 1st class mail in the Bay area would take a day or two. The title just recently changed hands from the previous finance company to the dealership on 22 Jan 24. So 5 weeks later I have an expired registration and no title. Takeaways: Sales Staff- Great, and felt I got a great deal with what I traded in. Detailing Staff- Poor (food and trash under the seats, massive amounts of mud under the vehicle.) Servicing Staff- Questionable (was the oil and filter changed? Car fax says there was an inspection, but based on what I saw under the vehicle, this is questionable.) Administrative Staff- Questionable (Title not transferred to me yet and Temporary registration is expired. Conclusion: I think if you are in the market for new Volkswagen, this is your place. If you are in the market for used car, be careful. Seems the are eager to make the sale, but once you are out the door with the vehicle they tend to forget about you. I don't blame the sales staff, just seems like a failure of the service department and admin staff. ZFG. More
