Unfortunately for this Toyota Dealership, their Service Department has SERIOUS ISSUES and abuse of customer cars and with patient customers. We brought two of our cars in for simple oil changes last Saturday, 09 Sept. 2023, patiently and forgivingly waited from 08:25 AM through 1:24 PM, so for 5 hours. We may have been able to Uber somewhere else for awhile; however they said it would take about 2 hours which would have been fine. I also saw one of our cars sitting outside the service doors for quite awhile. After the other car took a bit of time, and the service tech finally came to tell us he did the job himself as it may have been forgotten, I waited more minutes thinking mine would be up next to be ready. Both cars are in my name so would they not see I had two needing to be closed out…? Anyway, I went to ask about the car, and they found my key and paperwork of services completed, closed out and filed away in a drawer without any indication or update to me, not in text or in email or a call. More happened physically to the car that wasn’t that way when we brought it in, but they fixed it (I hope) and communicated to me when again completed. The BIG ISSUE we found later with our other car we brought in for an oil change: we had a Big OIL LEAK on our clean driveway after the service. we’ve never had oil leaks on our driveway even with older cars in the past. My spouse had to take time away from work in the morning to get on the ground and under engine and research the leak’s origin. It was The DRAIN PLUG that was not secured to the drain hole. How simple a job to is that to mess up, mechanic, especially when it was your only 1 service job??? The service tech kindly did the other job which was change the air intake filter, and after the car sat too long and was forgotten. So we spent time away from work this morning with the oil leak, taking it back to Toyota, and then cleaning the oil spill on driveway.
