I appreciate that most of the service representatives at this Lou Fusz dealership know my family and I by name. Dealing with them was absolutely one of the most stressful experiences ever. It took OVER 3 MONTHS for me to get my vehicle back. I decided to go here because I purchased my vehicle from Lou Fusz an stressful experiences ever. It took OVER 3 MONTHS for me to get my vehicle back. I decided to go here because I purchased my vehicle from Lou Fusz and take it to their other Subaru dealer in St. Peters for service. I have received top notch service there, so after seeing the collision center had favorable ratings, I thought my experience would be similar. Boy, was I wrong. I lost count of how many times I had to call to get any update on my vehicle. It seems like every time I called, I talked to a different person who gave me a completely different and sometimes conflicting update. So. Much. Runaround. Their communication internally and with me as a customer was horrendous. I was told at least 8 times that my vehicle would be ready and then surprise, surprise, they still weren't done, or they found "just one more thing" that needed to be addressed. When I initially inquired about a courtesy vehicle I was told they don't do that, so I had to pay out of my own pocket for a rental for a month since I didn't have that on my insurance. It was only after I came in person to pick up several weeks later (one of the many times they promised me a completion date) that they magically had a courtesy vehicle for me to drive, free of charge. I would have appreciated more communication on their end. I was originally quoted by my insurance company a turnaround time of 20 days. Days! How did 20 days turn into over 3 months?! If it was going to be a while, I could’ve made due more so in that time, if I was only told beforehand a better accurate timeframe and more frequently updated instead of getting my hopes up and having to constantly contact them about what was going on. When I finally got my vehicle back, it just wasn’t the same. One of the only good things I have to say is that cosmetically, it looked great. But mechanically, it had a bunch of weird little quirks. I noticed a wind noise that wasn’t there before from the windshield/door panel frame area every time I drive above 30MPH; the headlights weren’t aligned (seriously, it looks like the car has a lazy eye); and several other things. I only kept it for a few weeks before trading it in for something else. The whole experience of being in the actual accident plus dealing with the insurance company is already stressful enough. You shouldn't have to have the added stress of the body shop repairing your vehicle to that. After my whole experience here, I definitely DO NOT recommend the collision center. I’m just glad that it’s done with and in the past, but I am truly soured on the Lou Fusz brand, and caution anyone who takes their vehicle here to be prepared for potentially horrible experience. More
