Everyone was so nice and helpful. I found their transparency refreshing. It's hard to find a dealership that doesn't try to hose you. AND THEY WASHED MY CAR!!! Came in to get an “oil change”. Right when I check in they tell me I need a timing belt and an alignment and other items. It was on the “recommendation” list. I proceeded to say that’s weird because I had that done here not too long ago and I also had the alignment done there as well right after buying my tires from Costco. She looked it up and said yes you’re right. Crazy that they are not aware of my records unless I tell them. They proceeded to tell me I needed both cabinets and air filters change all 3 wipers replaced and a break system flush, transmission fluid flush. I agreed to those items and I was there a total of 1 hour and 13 minutes according to Life360. They had the same man do all the work according to the bill. They charged me a ridiculous amount of 366.85 for labor alone. I was so shocked by this salary I looked up the average salary for Honda mechanics on Zip Recruiter and it’s listed as 24.21 an hour. I get the dealership needs to make money but that is crazy ridiculous . Parts were only 296.94 (you know dang well that’s overpriced to make money there as well) That is completely shameful!! I will not be returning to that dealership again. They are more interested in up charging you service then what your car actually needs. This has happened before there and I should have known better to return. I have downloaded a records tracker app so I’m not blindsided by this type of nonsense. While I was waiting I overheard a “salesman” in maintenance tell a older lady she needed new tires and she said that’s odd because I just took my car to Costco for a tire rotation and they said my tires look great. He proceeded to say well they can go a little further. He said to her you will need a new battery as she agreed to it and he walked away she said well that’s a lot better than the 2,000.00 they charged me last time I was here. 😳 More
