Great Service Department Experience From the first time I phoned in for a service quote (for the 105k miles service on a Honda Odyssey), I felt that Shane provided the attention to detai From the first time I phoned in for a service quote (for the 105k miles service on a Honda Odyssey), I felt that Shane provided the attention to detail I was looking for. His courteousness and friendliness were top notch. The dealership is smaller and has less customer facilities than I am used to at other Honda dealerships. What I also probably missed was a shuttle service for drop off which I know another Honda Dealership I usually go to provides. But other than the two minor nice to haves, I was very impressed with the service department -- it's people to be exact. Regardless of who I conversed with in the service department, they were consistently exceeding my expectations. I was attended to immediately as I drove in, they listened carefully and the paperwork was quick. What really got my attention is how quick my minivan was ready after the service -- timing belt replacement, accessory belts replacement, tensioner replacement, coolant flush, steering fluid flush, brake fluid flush, multipoint inspection and all fluid topups -- I brought in the vehicle at 11 am and it was ready for pickup by 4pm the same day. Every minor detail that I mentioned was attended to without a single miss out. If this their daily quality of work in regards to communication, attention to detail, followup, punctuality and consistently going the extra mile for the customer, this Honda dealership's service department is miles ahead of the other Honda dealership service department I have used so far (I will not mention which). My first point of contact was Shane Stegeman. If he hadn't consistently impressed me with our first encounter and the second, I would probably not have come in here in the first place. I am now glad that I did. Of course, the 10% discount coupon on their website did play a big role in that decision too. On my experience so far, I would rate this 9 out of 10. More
I did not have an appointment but was in the area of the dealership, Chad woked me in even though they were booked up for the day (I explained to chad that I lived 60 miles away). Maurice was kind, considerate and very positive. I came in for an oil change and he suggested that I get the tires rotated as well. I bought my HONDA CRV 2005 from Brookdale Honda and been servicing it exclusively at the same dealership since. At my last service appointment at 7:00am on Dec 21st, 2011,a great disservice was done to me. The service included a rear brake replacement due to which I availed of a compact car rental. When the rental car was brought out to me it was covered completely in frost. The technician (Chris) who handed over the key had to be prompted to log the fuel level and mileage and he didn't conduct me around for an inspection of the car. The car was still covered in frost including all the windows except for a small region of the windshield which had been scraped. He turned the heat full on, obtained my signature at my prompt and handed me the keys. Since I've been occasionally renting car from Brookdale Honda it never occurred to me I was being led into a trap. Because of frost the body of the car was invisible and I trustingly signed the rental papers. It was a working day for me as well. I drove home, parked my car in my closed garage. I was shocked when your service personnel told me the car was damaged during the time I was in possession of the car.He said there was a deep scratch on the bottom of the rear passenger side door. I strongly and vehemently denied that it happened on my watch but the manger Jay Hanf together with Chris was adamant that it was my fault. They also insisted that my insurance would take care of it and that I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket. This has caused not only a potential increase in my insurance premium but also my trust in Brookdale Honda. More
I initially called Brookdale Honda's service to have my vehicle towed in. My wife and I were stuck at the mall. I spoke with Reed and he told me it sound like a dead battery. He offered to come jump start vehicle towed in. My wife and I were stuck at the mall. I spoke with Reed and he told me it sound like a dead battery. He offered to come jump start us for free. When he showed up, he confirmed it was just the battery and got us started. He then had us follow him back to the dealership and not only tested our battery, but also washed our pilot all for free! My wife and I were very relieved and happy with the help and service! We will most defiantly be back! More
I had brought my Ridgeline in for service and while waiting, decided to find out more about the Honda Sale Event with low interest being offered at the dealership. Mike did an excellent job explaining the program and in a short time we found outselves the proud owner of a 2010 Ridgeline (just like our other one only better) The expereience was excellent and we would encourage others to check it out for themselves.
