Misleading Toyota Certified Vehicle I was in the market for a Used Toyota Highlander and thought about getting a Toyota Certified Vehicle. We all want to feel confident in our next car I was in the market for a Used Toyota Highlander and thought about getting a Toyota Certified Vehicle. We all want to feel confident in our next car purchase. My web searches brought me to Luther Brookdale Toyota because it had listed a Certified Toyota 2017 Highlander Limited Edition at a reasonable price. Customer service was great in setting up an appointment for a showing. When I saw the vehicle I was astonished that this vehicle was listed as Toyota Certified. It had a 2 inch crack on the front bumper, scuffs on the interior of the driver's door, and visible dents on ALL THE WINDOW TRIMS as a result from hail damage. If this vehicle meets the 160 Point Assurance Inspection for Toyota's Certified Vehicle Program by Luther Brookdale Toyota's highly trained and qualified technicans, then I question Luther Brookdale Toyota's integrity and business practices of offering honest and valued products. Professional Serivice I was happy with the professionalism of the service members from the time I drove into the bay. A car runner quickly waited on me and provided a servi I was happy with the professionalism of the service members from the time I drove into the bay. A car runner quickly waited on me and provided a service slip with vehicle information for me to provide to the receiving desk clerk. The desk clerk was able to identify me and which service was due. I was directed to the waiting area where I noticed an employee wiping down clean the seating area. There was great social distancing being adhered to and all employees were protecting customers by wearing face masks. My service (tire rotation and oil,filter change) did not take more than 20 minutes. When I returned to my vehicle I found the steering wheel and seat nicely covered with a plastic barrier which told me they are taking my safety seriously. My only slight concern is that I believe they should remove them for me so I don't have to touch the plastic. I even verified that the service team actually did the work. I know they rotated my tires because I marked them. I checked the oil when I returned home and it was brand new clean. More
