I cancelled my follow up appointment because I was able to fix the issue with my usb port myself by changing a burnt fuse. I have leases one car and purchased a second car through Luther Brookdale becaus to fix the issue with my usb port myself by changing a burnt fuse. I have leases one car and purchased a second car through Luther Brookdale because I loved their service department. I no longer have confidence or trust Luther Brookdale Volkswagen. I brought my car in for an oil change and informed the service department that my charger was not working. I was told that it would require a diagnostic at the cost of $160. I declined. I was then informed that my reverse light was out. They changed the bulb and it still didn’t work. I was told that it was probably the Wii’s f that it would need a diagnostic. I agreed to the diagnostic because now it was the charger and the light that was a problem. I was told they may keep my car a couple of days. It was a Friday so I picked my car up with plans to return it on Monday. It bothered me that there was no mention of checking the fuse. I did my research, found the burnt fuse and replaced it. The charger is working. It cost this 66 year old grandma $5.00 for the box of fuses. Luther should do the right thing and reimburse me the cost of the diagnostic. Reubenna Cooley 612-251-7187 More
