2012 Passat I finally found a car that would suit my needs on the Burnsvle VW website. I called and talked with the salesman John. I walked in and was greeted by a number of salesmen. They found John for me and we went for a test drive. Loved the car! I could not pick up the car until the following Friday. They were very accommodating. I actually wa able to take delivery of the car on Thursday. The deal went thought nicely. John gave a a very thorough walk through of the cars systems. Whereas in most big ticket purchases (house, car, etc) I had the most enjoyable car buying experience working with Mike Barcalow and Jim Ganfield. Whereas in most big ticket purchases (house, car, etc) the sales person's friendship is obviously artificial, with Mike and Jim it truly was genuine. The add-on packages like warranty extensions and paint protection were explained to me with no "hard sell," and when I declined it was happy accepted - no pushing to get me to change my mind. I purchased the car through the Costco Auto Purchase service, so I got to the purchase price without needing to haggle. I had done my research before, and compared to TrueCar.com pricing I did very well. Overall a great experience, in a large part thanks to Mike and Jim. More
