If you are looking for great service, a great car at a good price, give Matt a call. I am in the car business myself, so I wasn't sure how this would work out. I have been working with Shawn for about 4 months. I intended to buy in June/early July but was forced to wait until the fall. Shawn understood my situation and we agreed to be in contact on a month end intended to buy in June/early July but was forced to wait until the fall. Shawn understood my situation and we agreed to be in contact on a month ending basis, no pressure, just a follow-up phone call to check-in and see how my situation was doing. Being in sales for many years, I understand and appreciate patience. Shawn listened to my problem and didn't force me to do anything as I told him when the time came I would be ready to buy. I was impressed that he went to work when I asked him if I could test drive the Cadenza for a day. There were no hassles he just got me the car. I drove the car and bought a new Cadenza a day later. The dealership was great and I received what I thought was a good price on my car. The whole experience at the dealership took less than 3 hours (amazing!) and I drove home in my new Cadenza. Best experience with a dealership. I was recently a CarHop customer and was not thrilled about going through a dealership again. I went to Kia looking to buy a used car and then Pat came up to me and started asking questions. Pretty soon he was asking if I had thought about getting a new car. I kind of laughed and said no but pretty s up to me and started asking questions. Pretty soon he was asking if I had thought about getting a new car. I kind of laughed and said no but pretty soon I was convinced that this was a great deal for me! I am leasing a Kia Optima since they had such a good deal on them. I brought my car in 3 times before it was fixed correctly. My car randomly wouldn't start a few months ago. After a few Google searches and opinions of others, etc, I determined it's probably a b correctly. My car randomly wouldn't start a few months ago. After a few Google searches and opinions of others, etc, I determined it's probably a bad starter. Brought it in the first time and asked them to look at my starter. They said it was fine, i went home with an oil change. A few weeks later, it randomly stops starting again, so I brought it back a 2nd time. They are stumped because they checked everything (including a 3 year old battery, to say it was healthy), make me leave my vehicle overnight to check it out. They call saying they think it must be a dead cell in the battery and they'll replace for $130. I say Ok because it's worth a shot at this point for the fix, go to pick up my car. Get it home and it won't start 4 hours later when i need to go somewhere. I call right away and say "Hey, battery isn't the issue, I'm bringing it back as soon as it starts again". It doesn't start, the next morning so I pay to tow it in. They call back and say "it's your starter. We will replace it." I asked if I could get my money back on the battery because it clearly wasn't the issue, but they said "The battery needed to be replaced too because the starter was wearing it down." Which doesn't make any sense what-so-ever. I would have appreciated even an apology, or just someone admitting that the dealership was wrong instead of making up some "oh, no, really the battery was bad" excuse, when I do remember just a few days ago when they said "the battery tested fine and we're stumped." I think the fair solution would have been for me to get my original battery back, or at least split the cost of the new one with the dealership. This is why I'm giving such a terrible rating (which I hate doing, because the people seemed friendly enough). More
Our experience was pretty good. We definitely appreciated Bayo and his friendly and welcoming personality. We were absolutely AMAZED at his knowledge of the inventory and the features of the vehicle we purchased. We did not like the amount of time it took to get from one step to the next. We were there for several hours and saw a few sales people goofing around while we sat waiting. That said we did appreciate seeing they had a sense of humor and friendly atmosphere for the most part. We also did not like that we specifically said we wanted to see numbers for two different vehicles before we made a decision and then were called to the finance office to sign papers for the more expensive one. When we mentioned we wanted to see the numbers for the other vehicle the finance individual (who was NOT a "people person" said "I thought they already showed it to you, I apologize. Anyway, just sign here, here, here....". We felt like we were put on the spot in a very uncomfortable position and pressured into purchasing a vehicle we had not had time to discuss. Overall, we are happy with the vehicle we purchased, not the price but...and we were very happy with Bayo, AWESOME sales rep and probably the best part of our experience that day! So a big thank you to him! More
