Transmission replacement I heard a sound from my Nissan Altima's transmission, so I took it to Luther Nissan to be checked out. The service department took the car to diagnose I heard a sound from my Nissan Altima's transmission, so I took it to Luther Nissan to be checked out. The service department took the car to diagnose the problem. The service department came to talk to me an hour later in the waiting room and told me it was definitely the transmission. My car is 7years old and has 79000 miles on it, so I am thinking, this is going to hurt financially. The service man told me they had already talked to Nissan and gotten approval to replace the transmission under warranty. They wanted to keep the car so they could have the work done by the end of the next day. They gave me a loaner car at no charge and I was on my way back to work in less then an hour and a half. No hassle, nothing but totally impressed. I told the service man I was impressed and very pleased. The next day, before 2 PM, I got a phone call saying my car was ready to be picked up. That was less then 24 hours from the time I left the shop the day before. My whole experience at Luther Nissan was pleasant and impressive. I definitely will recommend Luther Nissan to my friends and anyone who needs service. More

Improved service since last year On my first trip to this dealership I wished I hadn't gone: Service was slow, people were rude, coffee was stale... basically everything you hate abou On my first trip to this dealership I wished I hadn't gone: Service was slow, people were rude, coffee was stale... basically everything you hate about going to a dealership. Maybe it was just a bad day at the office (for everyone), but I had such a bad experience that, for my next oil change, I drove all the way down to Burnsville's Walser Nissan so I could avoid this place. Fortunately, things are much better now and I'm glad I gave Luther Nissan Kia a second (and third, and fourth) chance. I don't know what changed internally with management, but employees are nicer/happier, the process is smoother, and the waiting room is cleaner than on my first trip. It seems with every return things just keep getting better. If they keep improving, I may have to buy a new truck here some day. More

I brought my car in for a 15,000 mile service and was recommended to get some additional work done. Some people would see that as gouging but I see it as pride in the thorough work that the mechanic does. And to top it off, they cleaned my car inside and out. Adam is top shelf - very efficient and helpful. Adam not only fixed an obvious repair but also discovered a problem with my brake fluid and repaired that as well. When I called to check on my car, Adam was always available, and kept me up to date at all times while my car was being serviced.
