We spent several hours searching for the perfect car for our family and my small business. Mitch listened to our needs and steered us in the right direction. He even humored our 2 teenage boys! And he was patient as we tested car after car to pick the right one. Raul, the financial manager, was very personable and made us feel very welcome and appreciated! The real WOW factor for us was that we decided to swap cars a few days after we bought our new car. We decided that the color wasn't quite right for us. Jeff showed us a couple of cars that he thought would be good for our growing family. (3 kids and 1 on the way) We loved one of the cars, they went over our financing options and drove home in our brand new Nissan Quest in less than a few hours. Friendly, Reasonable, Low Pressure and High Integrity I live in the Duluth area and was in the market for a 2015 Nissan Murano. I did all of my research, and then all of my shopping over the Internet. I I live in the Duluth area and was in the market for a 2015 Nissan Murano. I did all of my research, and then all of my shopping over the Internet. I had deals on the table from a local dealer, a dealer on the Iron Range, and two Twin Cities dealers (Luther Nissan Kia being one of them). When working with the dealers remote from me, I wanted to have the deal 95% nailed down before I would bother making the drive to see them. Luther won my business for three reasons. The net price of their offer (new car and trade-in), they were $850 better than the next best competitor and $1,250 better than the worst competitor. They had the vehicle that I wanted "right off the truck" (it didn't have to be driven from another dealer, thus burning off the best miles any car will ever have on it, nor did it have to be trailered from another dealer, which would have only added to the cost). And they have excellent ratings on this website. The only variable that wasn't nailed down in advance was the value of my trade. They offered a range that was consistent with the range that I independently determined based on data drawn from five different online sources (it is understandable that they could could not finalize their offer until they had a chance to inspect and drive my trade). With a deal 95% negotiated, I made the drive from Duluth to Inver Grove Heights. I arrived, they assessed my trade. They hit the number I needed (if they did not, I was prepared to travel to the other Twin Cities dealer, who's offer was second to Luther's, but who, upon learning that they were #2, offered to match Luther). We did the deal. I gave them my car and a cashier's check, and I drove away in a my new, immaculate, 2015 Nissan Murano Platinum AWD. Luther will keep my business, and has earned my referral because of the work and integrity that Jim Remer showed in negotiating the deal over the internet; the efficiency and integrity with which Doug Davenport finalized the deal when I arrived on-site (by "integrity" I mean that they honored the terms to which we previously agreed and didn't try to jerk me around once I was on-site); the friendly, flexible and no-pressure way with which Raul Tirado did his F&I job and closed the deal; and the professional and high quality way in which Greg Isham and his crew prepared and delivered my car (in addition to the normal cleaning and prep, the configuration I wanted included several dealer installed options). The only criticism I have of Luther Nissan Kia is that they need a larger facility and grounds. More
