However, I was completely thrilled with my experience with Wes David, Adam Kretsch, and the service department. Wes took time to answer my questions about the used vehicle I was interested in and provided coloring sheets to keep my kiddos entertained during the whole process. The service department was incredibly helpful with the trade-in process and in completely some needed repairs on the vehicle I purchased. Adam worked diligently to keep the financing within the budget I gave him. Overall, purchasing my new-used vehicle was a great experience with Luther Honda of St. Cloud. More
30 day warranty on used car purchase We just purchased a used 2010 Chevrolet Equinox from Luther. The exhaust manifold was cracked and leaking and the battery was bad. They picked up th We just purchased a used 2010 Chevrolet Equinox from Luther. The exhaust manifold was cracked and leaking and the battery was bad. They picked up the vehicle, made necessary repairs, returned the vehicle and it was all covered under the 30 day warranty. AWESOME. I can't be any more thankful. Thank you very much to everyone at Luther Honda who helped me out, you were all very helpful, polite and courteous. I definitely will give Luther Honda consideration during out next vehicle purchase. We purchased this vehicle for my 76 year old Mother and she is tickled to have it. I delivered it to her on 08-10-2014 and she has been driving it all over town showing her friends, relatives, etc. She thinks of places to go just so she can drive it. She is very pleased. Above and Beyond I scheduled an oil change and when I picked my car up, noticed several small scratches on the hood. I honestly do not know if they were there before I scheduled an oil change and when I picked my car up, noticed several small scratches on the hood. I honestly do not know if they were there before I brought the car in or not. The manager did not argue with me about it; he offered to have them buffed out. They even came and picked up my car, did the work and returned it to me, washed and shiney! I have told this story to many people because I think it is a great example of doing whatever it takes to make a customer happy. Thanks Dane, you represent your company well! More
It's been a long time I haven't had the need to buy a vehicle for more than 10 years. Being a single parent, you don't want to spend any money you don't need to. However, my truck has gotten to the point where it can't be my main vehicle anymore. I did tons of research online and the Honda Accord was always on the top of my list in all categories. I also know that Luther Honda partners with the Big Brother's Big Sister's which my girls and I are very involved in so I felt a lot better knowing that I'm supporting a local business who also supports such an amazing organization and cares about the community. I was nervous and stressed but my salesperson Jamie was wonderfully patient and listened to me babble on and on while I was trying to get through my nervousness. She was great and knowledgeable and I felt NO pressure. After meeting with her I was able to leave and think about my decision without feeling guilty or obligated in any way. Everyone I encountered there was very nice and wanted to help. I was walked through both the purchase and lease options, getting all my questions answered and was allowed to chose the option that worked best for my current situation. Being a woman, we run into situations where we feel intimidated and pressured to do things that maybe we don't want to do because at times it may appear we can be easily swayed but I was treated as an equal here and that means more to me than anything else. I do have to mention too that the car is amazing and I'm very happy I chose a Honda Accord. I will definitely be returning in a few years when I need another vehicle as I have 2 daughters who will be driving in the next 2-4 yrs. I often spend weekends on remote stretches of roadway and backwoods boat landings, so I want to ensure I have no problems. Luther has been my sole service provider since I leased a 2013 Honda Pilot from them last spring. When you arrive, the service advisors at Luther Honda of St Cloud will take you out to your vehicle and perform a little walk-around inspection and ask if you have any questions - a great opportunity for a one-on-one talk with the advisor and no distractions. Casey Van Dorn was the first advisor I had, and my last two service experiences have been with Mike Arko - they are patient listeners, genuinely concerned that they answer your questions and provide quality service. My most recent visit was for a small warranty issue (window channel) and some paint that was flaking/chipping away between the front molded bumper covering and the fender. Window channel done - no problem. Paint issue addressed and touched up - however, Honda declined to warranty the paint, but Mike and the Service Department at Luther covered the repair at no cost to me!
