We booked an appointment 3 weeks ago for repairs. We took the vehicle to drop it off on 8/26, the appointment that was given to us and were told the department responsible for the repairs would not b We took the vehicle to drop it off on 8/26, the appointment that was given to us and were told the department responsible for the repairs would not be able to look at the vehicle for another 2 weeks. I asked Charles smith what was the purpose of booking the appointment 3 weeks ago if we could not drop the vehicle off to have the repairs done? I received the most lame excuse - there are actually 2 schedules the dealership utilizes and we were given another appointment date of 9/17 with the assurance that at that time our vehicle would be pulled into the bay to assess what repairs should be done.This is a very unprofessional business practice. Not only was I able to call another Lincoln dealership in the area and secure an appointment for 9/5 with a loaner but the customer service I received was second to none. We will not ever take our vehicle back to Mac Haik. And to whomever responsible for Human Resources for the dealership, please either provide better training to your employees or hire ethical people. More

I can’t really give a rating on this service center. I scheduled an appointment to get my car service from a recall, Ford’s having. They said drop it off Friday morning, and they would have it ready by Monday at the latest. I texted them Monday morning, letting them know I had to work in San Antonio the next day. They told me my car hadn’t been looked at yet. They could give me my car that day no problem, but no service occurred. They also told me over the phone that they would pay for an Uber, to get me back to my house once I dropped the vehicle off, but then I got there and their vehicle service was down so I had to pay $35. They said they would take it off of my bill, but I don’t have a bill because they didn’t do any work. Even if they had done the work, and it was only recall repair, wouldn’t the bill be free ? They were nice enough to copy me on the email that was sent all the way to the GM Duane Harris and everybody that had been involved. I called a week after the Mac Haik representative sent the email as I hadn’t gotten a response from anyone. At that time I was told that they changed to Microsoft 365 and lost all their emails. So I then gave them another week and a half and still nothing. Honesty, integrity, and customer service is not something that Harris’s dealership cares about. I brought our truck in and was told it would take at least 2-3 days for diagnostic tests. Almost 2 weeks later I was told it would be ready by Thursday afternoon with the latest being Friday at noon. At that time I asked if our warranty covers a rental, which it supposedly does, but was told that I would have to go get a rental from enterprise or another rental company. When I asked for clarification about our warranty in regards to a rental, I couldn’t even get a response (this was through text messages). Thankfully 90% of the conversation is on text. I tried figuring out what time to be there and couldn’t get a response (through texts) Nothing until I finally called and got a response that it now was going to be ready at 2 on Friday with 3 being the latest. I showed up 1:30 and let the service advisor know that I was there and ready for it whenever they were finished with it. Finally around 3:30, I asked to talk to someone as nothing had been communicated with me. The service foreman Charlie Tincher came to talk to me and let me know that they just now got to it. He asked who told you that it was ready to be picked up. I pointed to the service advisor and said he told me it was going to be ready yesterday or today at noon at the latest, then it changed to 2 then to 3. I was then informed that they had 40 other vehicles ahead of me today. After 2 weeks it is still sitting behind 40 other vehicles? Well we have been waiting for a long time on a part. So I look again over to the service advisor and he stated that the part came in a long time ago. It was weird that this lack of communication and coordination is taking place in the actual lobby. If I would have seen this happening to someone else when I was dropping off the truck I would have turned around and walked out. Needless to say, the truck still hasn’t been fixed. Thank goodness they allowed me to have my truck back so that I wouldn’t have to cancel my scheduled events that weekend. All I can say is, if you want honesty, integrity, and customer service you should take your vehicle anywhere but there. They didn’t even try to address this sub par performance when given the opportunity. That speaks volumes!! More
