Whatever questions he could not answer he was quick to find someone who could answer them. He did a great job throughout, including delivering the vehicle to my house. This is my 12th vehicle purchase in 32 years. So I have a little experience in car-buying. I know what I want and I know what I don't want. The only bad portion of this particular car purchase was dealing with Josh, the finance guy. This is the 2nd vehicle in two years I help buy for my father. He trusts me implicitly and knows I am looking out for him. At the point of signing documents and when Josh began talking about warranty I politely informed Josh that we could save some time and proceed without warranty conversation; that we did not want the warranty. At least three time he asked "why" and each time I explained we just didn't want it and we needed to move on. Then Josh turned to my father and said "your farther is buying this car so I'm speaking to him". This did not sit well with me. So I firmly told Josh I spoke for my father to which my father told Josh that whatever I said he was fine with him. I understand warranties generate much of your profits. But Josh should learn when to stop pushing and certainly not redirect as he did. The only other thing I will add is that I truly wish your dealership would have evolved a bit more. I purchased a 2005 Expedition and traded in an earlier model Expedition at the time. I had to "fight" for a better trade-in value then. Since then I've purchased four Hyuandis and two Fords. Fords were purchased at Leif Johnson and Covert Hutto. I decided to give you all another try. In my current experience my father traded in a 2018 Fusion with 12,250 miles. Initial TI offer was $10k. Honestly, that was pretty offensive. And when I said we would not take that offer, suddenly that vehicle was worth $3k more. THIS is the reason why car-buying is dreaded by most. I wish your initial offer would have been more in line with what we know this vehicle is worth. Although we ended up with a TI offer of $13,500 I still think it should have been higher. Bottom line for me, even though this purchase was my father's I will consider your dealership for future purchases. I just have to know I'll need to "play the game" and be very guarded to ensure I get the best deal I can get. More
