I sent out a request for a quote for a 2013 Honda Odyssey, I got one back from Madison honda it was a good price I called to confirm the vehicle was available. then traveled 30 miles to see it. I get there sit down with a sales man give him my price quote he writes up the order form, Then I see a extra charges for eight hundred and something dollars for a pro pack, two hundred and some change for a doc fee plus destination and dmv. suddenly a 31,000 car becomes 34,000 and thts still b4 taxes. I asked the sales person to explain to me what the extra charges were and he told me the pro pack comes on most of their vehicles it includes a net , mats and something else. I told him I didnt want to pay 830$ for stuff I don't really need or want I got a quote from Brian I added up the numbers my self w Tax, destination and dmv and now they want to tell me I have to spend more. He gets his manager a Man named Phil. Who I remember from Planet Honda the biggest rip off dealership in NJ I just shook my head, He came over and told me if I wanted the car for the price Brian quoted me I had to take the pro pack because he needed to make some money, I told him no and he told me well there's nothing we can do for you here. I thanked my sales person who's name was Bob I think, he was a nice. The sales Mgr was very unprofessional I only went there because of the good reviews I read. Ppl really have different opinions and If the have a sales Mgr from Planet Honda then you should RUN fast and far. I did get my odyssey at the price I wanted and the so called pro pack was included. My wife and I went to Madison Honda on September 29, 2012 to look at a new CR-V to purchase. We were met by a very friendly and knowledgeable salesman by the name of Kamal Bawa. We initially looked at the 2012 models but realized they might be out of our price range. So, Kamal recommended that we might want to consider a certified pre-owned model. We immediately found several in our price range. Kamal was able to show us several different cars, none of which were appealing to us due to high mileage, condition, or lack of upgrades. Then, Kamal found the perfect car for us on a back lot, which was not yet certified but he said he could get certified for us that day. After deciding upon the car, we were able to successfully negotiate a price that was fair and acceptable to us, without too much hassle and haggling. Kamal even agreed to give us new tires and detailing as part of the certified price, and to fill up the car with gas. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and Kamal was very helpful and reasonable.
