My truck alarms were going off. I drove the truck to the dealership on a Saturday August 26.2023. I knew it would be Monday or Tuesday. They called and said they reset the computer I drove the truck to the dealership on a Saturday August 26.2023. I knew it would be Monday or Tuesday. They called and said they reset the computer and the truck was ready. I did not receive the paperwork from the August 26, report due to the service department rep having a family emergency and the ticket was not closed out. If it happened again they would reassess as that was what they were told to do to figure out the issue. I did not receive the paperwork from the August 26, report due to the service department rep having a family emergency and the ticket was not closed out. After one week the alarms came back on and I did not feel sake driving the truck and it as towed by GMC to dealership. They called and said the break line had been cut. I was in shock with this report to me as I had been driving the truck for over a week. I was told I would have to pay as a cut break line was not covered by 3 year / 36000 mile warranty. They also said the parts were on back order and it would cost me close to $900.00 for parts and labor. With this crazy report I was very very disappointed and called GMC and told them what was going on. I went on a cruise and just got back and this is why this report is late. The problem with the dealership is not the on site team. The problem is communication. When you call the dealership evidentally you speak to a "service" not the dealership and you do not receive informati The problem is communication.
