overwhelmed I was ready to release my car for another 3 years at basically the same rate as I was leasing my 2015 Accord. After talking to Jesse Baseball, he gave I was ready to release my car for another 3 years at basically the same rate as I was leasing my 2015 Accord. After talking to Jesse Baseball, he gave me a sheet giving me higher finance options and talked me into buying my vehicle. It turned out that after purchasing the vehicle, my monthly payment is more than releasing the vehicle with a $1000 cash down option. In six years, I will have a 9 year old car that I payed $20, 000 for where on the other hand, in 3 years I could release a brand new car for less money. I don't need the equity of an automobile and would have preferred to release for the next 3 years. They are advertizing the 2017 Accord on TV now for $169 per month - far less than the $283 that I am now paying to own my car. I felt I was duped into purchasing my vehicle. Richard Fowler More

New Honda I was in the market for a new 2017 Honda Civic. Using truecar.com I was presented with a few bay area dealers with what I was looking for. Manly didn' I was in the market for a new 2017 Honda Civic. Using truecar.com I was presented with a few bay area dealers with what I was looking for. Manly didn't show up on the first result, but I knew by searching their inventory it wasn't there. I tried the search results a couple more times over the next few days and the last one hit with Manly. I wanted to buy in the North Bay because I didn't want to spend the whole day stuck in traffic just to buy a car. I was contacted by Cory McMurray, who is with internet sales from Manly. This kid gets 5 stars all day long in my book! He was able to find almost everything on my wish list and get it shipped to Manly in a couple of days. We were able to communicate directly through email and then text which works out perfectly since I work and wasn't able to take personal phone calls during the day. He made everything a breeze and even negotiated the price before I went in. I wanted everything done in one trip: go there, sign paperwork, and drive away. I did not want to haggle or be stuck at the dealer all day. The day arrived to pick up my car. We started paperwork right away since the car was getting detailed still. Car came out, looked great, test drive went flawlessly. I was super happy so far. Then, came time to go to finance... This always gives me that anchor in the gut feeling like going to the principal's office every time I buy a car. I had all my funds ready, price set from Cory, I figured, I've got this. I was greeted by Dave from finance. He was super nice to begin with, went over all the upselling packages and warranty items I can add on. He went into detail and explained everything beautifully. When I denied the warranty packages the tables turned. He was making me feel like I'm going to die without adding on all of these warranties. I understand that's his job to push them. I bought one for $700 because its the only one I could actually see benefiting from. He was clearly upset, started banging the keys loudly as he typed, whole demeanor had changed, he just looked super irritated. It was uncomfortable and awkward for me and my family. He then rushed through all the signatures and I had to point out that he had missed my wife's signature, he rushed her to sign as well. In the end I love my car, Cory was a breeze to work with, review would've been 5 stars if the finance office wasn't such a pain. Buying from a dealer is getting easier, but there is still room for improvement. More
