My Bad Mistake but Dealership Fixed it I was in the market for a late model Honda Ridgeline RTL T with AWD. Did my internet research and determined that Manly had three on the lot at reaso I was in the market for a late model Honda Ridgeline RTL T with AWD. Did my internet research and determined that Manly had three on the lot at reasonable prices. Being 75 miles out of the area I called and spoke with John Hathaway to see if we could strike a deal. We agreed on a price for either one of two with low mileage, 6,000 and 11,000. Made the drive, met with John, test drove the two and made selection. Did a little obligatory last minute haggle for show and purchased the vehicle, a 2017 white model. They put in full tank of gas and wife and I drove back to Redwood City. It was quite late and dark by then and I did not do any additional inspection that night. Next morning I woke up and said, "let me look up on the internet how the "snow" mode switch works", since I noticed that below the gear selector on drive home. To my horror I learned that I had made a significant mistake. Reading up on the various vehicles at different dealers I had convinced myself that 'All RTL - T" models came with AWD standard. Not true. My beautiful, nice driving Ridgeline was a FWD and reason I selected Ridgeline was for the AWD option for anticipated Sierra trips. Rather freaked out (it was now Sunday and really wanted to have completed the truck buying exercise over the weekend).......... Man this would normally be a $5-7K mistake. Well, Manly actually has a 7 day - no questions asked return policy that does not come with extra cost. Long story short, we returned the vehicle, looked at another vehicle which we elected to not purchase and were able to still end up a late model Ridgeline RTL T AWD from another dealer in the North Bay. They were rather shocked by Manly's policy. Bottom line, if you are in market for car, I suggest you check inventory at Manly. Sales person, John Hathaway was professional and Finance person Cory was good at the paperwork. More

He's extremely kind and so helpful with all my questions. If I could choose every time if I wanted help from any of your staff in service, hands down I would ask for him. I've worked in customer service most of my working career and to actually see someone who represent that top notch tier of professionalism as well as genuine it is far and few people that have that quality. He deserves a raise and is and amazing asset to your company!!!!!! More

So sad greed has overcome your dealership. I was told I needed a air filter for the cabin and engine. I'm no mechanic so I had you install the engine filter but opted to you tube the cabin filter installation and did it myself in one minute which you were going to charge $60 for labor. Your welcome to check your records but I have been a loyal customer , I have purchased 3 new vehicles and serviced all of them at your dealership.The fact that you claim to never make any money on the sale of a new vehicle I've always found hard to believe but when I see how much profit is in a simple cabin filter change I seriously doubt your words. I will no longer service my vehicle at your business in the future. I'm sure the past services and purchases I have made have gone to furnish the new remodel of your dealership. I do understand businesses need to make a profit but when your gouge people you loose credibility More
