Great Experience Overall Let's just get start with this: Juan Martinez is an excellent car salesman and a wonderful human. I can say this because we ended up spending a strang Let's just get start with this: Juan Martinez is an excellent car salesman and a wonderful human. I can say this because we ended up spending a strange amount of time with him. Long story short, we bought our car but weren't able to take it home with us that day. We were told that once all the finances were settled they would deliver it to us in Oakland. Fast forward a week to when the check had cleared and I thought we were good to go. I called the dealership to see if we could get it delivered. I was told they were really backed up on drivers and would not be able to deliver it that day. I was sad. Then came Juan Martinez to the rescue! He drove it all the way to our house after he got off work on a FRIDAY NIGHT! I'm sure he had way better things to do with his night, but he showed up full of vim and vigor (and yerba mate!). We finalized the paperwork in the comfort of our apartment. We talked about music, school, speaking Spanish, and much more. We sent him off into the Oakland night with fresh baked cookies. It was a wonderful end to an otherwise king of stressful process. So, why 4 stars? Well, our time with Juan was great, but then there was the time with Sean. Simply put, it felt like things got more complicated than they needed to. We got talked into buying insurance we don't need (don't do it), and communication with everyone other than Juan was a challenge. If I had not been a bit forward and blunt, I think it would have taken much longer to get our car, which was already paid for. Also, there was a very rude man who came over to us while we were waiting for the finance man to come back, looked at our computer screen with my personal insurance information on it, and made some snide remark about how if I bought his insurance everything would be settled. When I let Sean know how perturbed I was by this, he said the man didn't even work there. So why was he walking around looking at computer screens? All the financial stuff was a bit fishy. More

Knowledgeable and Friendly Service Aaron Katz made the daunting task of choosing and buying a new car a great experience. I came in not sure which model I wanted. He showed me my options and let me drive each one to help me make the best decision for me. He worked with me to get a great deal on the new car and a really good value for my trade-in. I had not bought a new car for 12 years and all the new features were a bit mystifying, but he spent the time to help me understand how to use all the exciting new ways the car can make driving safer and more pleasurable (Yeah, Apple Car Play). Aaron also offered to answer any questions I thought of later – and I have taken him up on that! Rosa Chavez was also very helpful in arranging financing for the car. She explained everything and made that process clear and easy. I definitely recommend Manly and their knowledgeable and friendly staff. More

Saturday hours are a benefit for those unable to come during the week and is very appreciated. More
Extended warranty issues We were happy with Alex Iniguez He was professional and attentive and make the experience easy Our only issue was feeling a lot of pressure from Rosa We were happy with Alex Iniguez He was professional and attentive and make the experience easy Our only issue was feeling a lot of pressure from Rosa to buy all the extended warranties She made it seemed like after the 3 year car warranty ran out our new Honda would start falling apart My husband reacted to this issue and was very frustrated with the sales pressure to purchase a $3200 extended warranty It all worked out This is the only issue we felt uncomfortable with We love our new car and will absolutely recommend Alex and Manly Honda Thank you Laurie Oleary More
