Eleven years of bringing your Tacoma back to Marietta Toyota says more about our Service Department than any single visit ever could. We’re grateful you trusted us with the purchase of your 2015 Tacoma and that your Service Advisor, Brian Kessler, continues to give you a reason to trust us with its care all these years later. That’s a big part of why customers choose Marietta Toyota: the relationship doesn’t end when you buy the vehicle. We’re here to help you maintain it, protect your investment, and keep it running strong for as long as you own it. Thank you for 11 years of loyalty—we’ll make sure Brian knows he’s an important part of why you keep coming back!

Thank you for taking the time to share this, especially as a returning Marietta Toyota customer who has also referred someone to us. We’re glad Evan took good care of you and that your pickup experience was smooth, but the concerns you described about the negotiation and finance portions of your purchase are not something we want to leave unaddressed. A customer should be able to discuss pricing without feeling talked down to, and a finance presentation should help you understand your options—not leave you questioning the vehicle you just chose or confused about your decision. Because your screen name doesn’t allow us to identify your purchase, we haven’t been able to review the conversations you described with the people involved. Please call our management team at (770) 779-3480 so we can identify your visit, learn more about what happened, and address your concerns directly. Given your history with Marietta Toyota, we especially appreciate the opportunity to understand where this experience fell short and hopefully restore the confidence that brought you back to us.

Thank you for sharing this—we especially love that your new Toyota has changed the way you feel about service appointments. That’s a pretty meaningful compliment. Steve Hanna understands that great service isn’t just getting the work done quickly; it’s keeping you in the loop, respecting what you’re spending, and making the whole experience easy enough that you don’t dread coming back. That’s exactly what we want Marietta Toyota to add to the ownership experience: a Service Advisor you’re comfortable calling, a team that values your time, and a place where taking care of your Toyota feels simple. We’re glad Steve made such a strong first impression, and we look forward to giving you plenty more reasons to be happy you chose Toyota—and Marietta Toyota.

Thank you for the four stars and for being candid about the Service Center. We understand the comparison—there are newer dealership facilities along Cobb Parkway, and our building has a different story. Our Service Center is actually housed in Marietta Toyota’s original showroom from 1975, so there’s more than 50 years of history inside those walls. We’ve continued updating it over the years with renovations, newer furniture, LED lighting, and high-speed Wi-Fi, while continuing to operate from the same location that has served generations of Marietta Toyota customers. But history doesn’t lower our standards: the space should be clean, comfortable, and well maintained every day. If there were specific areas that didn’t meet that standard during your visit, we’d really appreciate knowing where we need to do better. Please call our Customer Relations Manager, Sarah, at (678) 831-4873 so we can address them directly. We appreciate the feedback—and the opportunity to keep improving a place we’re pretty proud to still call home.

J.K., thank you for your continued trust in Marietta Toyota and for such a thoughtful recommendation. We believe great service starts with respecting our customers through prompt care, experienced technicians, and clear communication about any concerns and the options available. That approach helps customers make informed decisions with confidence instead of feeling pressured or uncertain. Hearing that you would recommend not only our Service Department but our Sales Department as well is one of the highest compliments we could receive. As a family-owned dealership proudly serving our community since 1975, we're grateful for your confidence and look forward to continuing to care for you and your vehicles for years to come.

Marietta Toyota responded

Javonna, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry you left feeling that your concerns weren't taken seriously, as that is never our intention. After reviewing your repair history, we'd like to provide some additional context. On July 13, your vehicle was brought to us for a right front axle replacement. During that visit, our technicians also found that the front brake pads and rotors needed replacement and noted that the brake caliper bolts were loose from a previous aftermarket brake repair that was not performed at Marietta Toyota. At that time, there were no ABS or brake warning lights present, and we did not charge a diagnostic fee. When you returned on July 15 with intermittent ABS and brake warning lights, we again inspected your vehicle without charging a diagnostic fee. When the vehicle entered the shop, there were no warning lights illuminated and no diagnostic trouble codes stored, making it impossible to verify the source of an intermittent concern at that moment. During our inspection, we found the brake fluid to be contaminated, an existing condition that was not related to the axle replacement or any previous work performed by Marietta Toyota, and one that can contribute to intermittent brake system warnings. We recommended a brake fluid flush as the appropriate first step and explained—both in person and on the repair order—that this was the initial repair to restore the system and that additional diagnosis might be needed only if the warning lights returned. Fortunately, after the brake fluid service, the warning lights did not return. We understand why the timing of the warning lights raised concerns about the axle replacement. However, based on our inspections on July 13 and July 15, we did not find evidence that the axle replacement caused the brake warning lights. Instead, our documented findings pointed to pre-existing brake system conditions from work performed prior to your visit and contaminated brake fluid. Our responsibility is to diagnose and repair the conditions we find, regardless of where previous repairs were performed, and to make recommendations based on verified findings rather than assumptions. We appreciate you sharing your feedback because it reinforces how important clear communication is, especially when diagnosing intermittent concerns. We wish you many safe miles ahead in your Camry.

You are also attempting to mask the fact that the brake fluid has nothing to do with a sensor activating. I was told going through a rain puddle or hitting a pot hole and one other excuse would cause the light to come on. When in reality I’ve gone through hundreds of puddles and hit plenty of potholes in my travels and not once has the abs or brake lights activated. The fact that you did not charge a diagnostic fee should not have been done bc I told you exactly what the issue was, your tech repaired but hid it behind dirty brake fluid. The truth of the matter is the original technician either unplugged, did not seat the sensor back correctly or something in that realm. Replacing an axle and the sensor is directly correlated. I am not a mechanic/technician but have common sense. You have lost me as a customer in either buying from you and this is my 4th Toyota, nor will I visit your service center if it was the last one standing. The break and rotor replacement had nothing to do with the sensor and was addressed after another tech at your facility addressed it. Now that you have repaired the part that caused additional problems. I find your business practices to be shady and underhanded. After reading your reply, no further responses are needed.
