Fernando greeted me with a warm friendly smile, and let me tell him what I wanted. He wasn't one of those typical car salesmen weasels that hears what you have to say, and then disregards it completely and tries to sell you something more expensive to get more commission. He genuinely listened to what I told him I wanted, and did his very best to accommodate me and get me the right vehicle with the right package. He was very personable and kept the car buying experience fun, not stressful or overwhelming like it generally tends to be. After Fernando got me into my perfect dream car, Edmond did my financing and paperwork. He, too, was very personable and friendly. He explained everything to a T, and answered all my questions. Because we were there after closing time, Fernando and Greg personally washed my vehicle and made sure it was perfect and ready to go. It's not often you can say the sales manager personally details your vehicle! Even though I caused Greg, Edmond, and Fernando to stay late on a Saturday night, not once did I hear any one of them complain or try to rush through paperwork and cut corners so they could get on with their weekend. They treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. True gentlemen! I would highly recommend a visit to Marin Acura if you're looking to buy or lease a new vehicle!! More
An extremely long wait to drop off car for service. I made an appointment to drop off my car for a basic oil change at 11:00 AM on Friday. When I arrived, there were four other customers waiting to also I made an appointment to drop off my car for a basic oil change at 11:00 AM on Friday. When I arrived, there were four other customers waiting to also drop off their cars for service. 50 minutes later I was finally seen by a service employee. I have been bringing my car here for service for the past 9 years and have never waited more than 5 minutes to drop off my car. While I waited I observed it took approximately 15 minutes for each customer to be checked in. I told my service rep if they can't process customers faster they should not schedule so many people at one time. I also noted there seemed to be new software for logging in each car which requires the employee to change screens multiple times and make multiple mouse clicks. When I returned to pick up my car, it took 10 minutes just to pay for it, again the employee had to scroll through multiple screens just to take my credit card. The employee confirmed the service manager was trying to find a way to speed up the process. Let's hope they ditch the software soon. Angel was very friendly and apologized many times for the delay. I told him I knew it wasn't his fault, but he needed to tell the manager to fix the system. More

A lot of the process was done over the telephone and through e-mail before I actually went to the dealership to finalize the terms. I had a couple of issues which complicated my process, but the entire team worked with me and got me a great deal! They didn't have the exact car (exterior/interior color) that I wanted on their lot, but the manager, Greg, found one and got it for me. Mangit gave me the "tutorial" on my car, got my phone connected to the bluetooth, and went over my preferred settings on the car. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to answer all of my questions. Fernando didn't help me out too much on my deal, but he helped my sister with her acquisition and he was also great to work with! Everyone that I encountered at Marin Acura was very friendly, approachable, and professional. Highly recommend this dealership. More

When it was time to buy a new family car I hesitated to do the dreading process of selling with all these gimmicks and bait and switch sales tactics. When i walked into Marin Acura I was helped by Fernando and throughout this process (about a month long) Fernando was genuinely loyal and always helpful from beginning to end. When it was time to go over the negotiation the process was straight forward and grandparent my wife and kids loved the candy in the bathrooms! This dealer really deserves all the recognition and rewards that they have earned they are really a top notch dealership. More

Could not have been more pleased. My story starts about 4 years ago when I was looking to purchase a slightly used MDX. I live in Sonoma County and looked at vehicles locally and in Marin. I went back and forth ultimately purchasing elsewhere. Fast forward to: time to upgrade. Again with the back and forth I knew by their customer service that marin Acura was for me. They not only had more CPO inventory than other Acura dealers in the bay area but they go the above and beyond for their customers. I sold my 2011 MDX to a private party faster than anticipated and was kind of screwed to go look at cars. I thought I would stay local because I can always Uber my way there and back but having a horrible experience with the local dealership/service department and the forceful sales tactics I did not want to give them my business again. I had been talking with Eddie Guttfeld on the phone and through email for a few months. Never once was he intrusive or forced strong sales tactics on me. When I saw a newer used car online I contacted Eddie and he said that it already had interest. He offered in a very sincere way to drive up to Healdsburg to pick me up to look at cars and they offered to drive me home if I did not make a decision. WOW and all this happened at rush hour. Customer service is not always in the forefront of most dealerships anymore yet at Marin Acura it was very prominent. I drove several cars and decided on the one that suit me best. There was no forceful negotiations and not one person said "oh you should take that one" the decision I made was ALL mine. I was pleased with the finance department and seeing Edmond Kim as he was the sales person I dealt with 4 years ago and wished I had gone with. When I made my decision and all the mountain of paperwork was complete the manager came out to congratualte me and I realized that he was the manager at the location where I purchased my previous MDX. Now that explains why the service has declined at that location! What a great move for Greg and Marin Acura. Thank you to all of you who made this the best car shopping experience ever! I love my 2016 MDX !! More

Eddie came out and I explained how I was checking out the different configurations/colors in person, but wasn't inclined to make any brash decisions. As if clairvoyant, the first one he pointed out was the exact configuration I was aiming for. The transaction was smooth and easy. In fact, Eddie looked slightly puzzled when I mentioned that things seemed to be going too smoothly halfway through the process. There was no pressure; the price was more than fair; the terms were completely reasonable, and there were no tricks or gimmicks. Eddie was a low-key, personable, knowledgeable guy who collaborated with me to get into the car that - perhaps due to his undisclosed mind-reading skills - he knew I was going to drive off the lot that day. She found a couple of other things going on with my car, that I will schedule to be done in the very near future. She even stayed late to make sure I could get my car back the same day.
