I was impressed with Edmond Kim's knowledge of the vehicles and his overall demeanor. He was friendly and professional. I also liked that he never bad-mouthed another car. It may seem small, but I really dislike when sales people immediately put-down their competition or suggest that you are not intelligent for even looking at other options. Edmond displayed courtesy and excitement for the product- which is why we stuck around. Karen Kraut was also extremely friendly and professional. She immediately realized that I was frustrated with having to return to the dealership less than 24 hours later with a nail in my tire (these things happen). She efficiently provided a loaner and promised to take care of the tire, the floor mats, and interior/exterior coating. I look forward to working with her again. My overall experience with the dealership was just so-so. After we said yes to the price, it was 60 minutes of waiting for nothing. At 8 pm, we stated we were leaving and asked for the car to be ready the next day. There was a quick rush to get us a contract, but I have no idea why the 8 men sitting around could not speed up the process. Watching the "manager' sit in an office looking at his smart phone did not help. The discussion on the price was not well articulated - it ended up being higher than stated, but we were so frustrated by the extended wait time, that we relented. Again, doesn't leave a good feeling when you don't feel like you are being respected. We were promised the car would be detailed, but it wasn't. There was loose change and pretzels in a cup holder and shoe prints on rear seat. Additionally, while it may seem petty, I find it annoying to buy an expensive car and then immediately stop at a gas station since it only came with a quarter tank. The cherry-on-top of this experience was finding a nail in the tire the very next morning (less than 24 hours - after driving straight home). It was probably just a coincidence, but it compounded our feelings of frustration. More

I had been looking at this car for awhile on a different website and when I called Marin Acura, I found out that it had been shipped to Fresno. Edmond arranged for the car to be sent back to Marin Acura in website and when I called Marin Acura, I found out that it had been shipped to Fresno. He didn't have the exact car (color and technology/entertainment package) we wanted so he traded one of their cars, and schlepped to another dealer on a rainy Friday afternoon so we could purchase ours and head to Tahoe that evening. Great overall experience purchasing our first Acura! Separately, we drove the MDX up to Lake Tahoe last night in snowing/chain conditions (no chains for us!) and really enjoyed the handling and feeling of safety in the car. More

I was in contact with several dealers looking for a specific model/color combo and Edmond was very responsive via both email and phone. He even stayed over an hour after closing time to complete the deal and go over all of the features since I was coming from some distance and got there late in the evening. Would definitely recommend working with Edmond if you are looking for an Acura. More
