Tire Trouble I was at the dealership for recommended follow up of a pre own purchased last year. Imagine my surprise when I took the vehicle back a week later because I noticed a problem with the tread on one of the tires. After all tires were checked, I was told I needed 2 tires. Is this something that should have been noticed a week ago when the tires were rotated? More

My experience was bad at the beginning. The parts guy was awful with I needed to do from the start of arriving. My only support came from Nobu and his Superviser. My 2008 duramax Silverado would not start intermittently. My 2008 Duramax Silverado would not start intermittently. Both batteries in the truck were less than one month old. Your service departments conclusi My 2008 Duramax Silverado would not start intermittently. Both batteries in the truck were less than one month old. Your service departments conclusion was that one of the batteries was bad, they did not indicate which battery. I took the truck back to the independent garage that originally installed the Interstate batteries. Both battery’s tested good using their electronic testing equipment. At that time they told me that the problem was with the starter. As a double check I took the truck to interstate battery in Upland, They checked the batteries again using a hydrometer. They found one bad cell in the front driver side battery. They replace the battery with another new one at no cost. The next day I had the exact same starting problem when I was halfway up to Paso Robles. This continued to happen when we arrived at our destination. The truck started intermittently through the following day. I then called and left a message for my Service Advisor, Juan Fletes, telling him that I was going to cut my trip short and head back the following morning. I asked if I should bring the truck back to Mark Christopher for them to take a second look to see if they could figure out what the real problem was. I asked Juan to please call me back. I never received a return call from Juan, so I when I got back home I took the truck to the independent auto shop that had originally installed the batteries. They again told me that they were sure that it was the starter. I had them replace the starter with a brand new GM starter. I have driven the truck for four days now with no starting problems. Your analysis of my starting problem was a waste of my time and $155.00. I am very disappointed with Mark Christopher's Service Department. Dave Olson More
