Taken advantage of and cheated - Was looking for a vehicle that was large enough and reliable for family road trips. Purchased a used SUV from this dealer. Everything seemed good at Was looking for a vehicle that was large enough and reliable for family road trips. Purchased a used SUV from this dealer. Everything seemed good at first about the deal and the wife really wanted the vehicle they had. I was not allowed to have the "no hassle price" listed on the website and was threatened that if I didn't buy the vehicle for $1000 more than the price said that he had another buyer for it already. They will try to get you to pay for reconditioning and repairs for the vehicle even though it should have been taken care of already. Everything about this deal said not to do it, but since the vehicle was exactly what we were looking for we went through with it. The finance department was watching a football game during the signing, completely unprofessional. Upon receipt of our vehicle, they let us know that a lot attendant accidentally backed the car into something which ruined the bumper. They did replace it, but again, it was another sign to back out of the deal. Also, they would not let me take the car to an independent mechanic for a used car inspection (another sign that I should have backed out of the deal). Since the car was to be reconditioned for sale, I would have assumed they would have replaced the pressing issues it needed. The front brake rotors were warped, , the alignment was pulling hard to the left, and the vehicle needed all 4 tires. They never did replace the rotors because they claimed that was normal. They replaced 2 tires, but said the other 2 didn't need replacing even though they were right at the point of needing replacement. After driving the car home, there was horrible vibration. Found that the wheels/tires were not balanced properly (tons of weights on the wheels), I had Discount Tire correct this at my cost since Mark Kia could not get this right. I had also initially made a comment that the car was poorly cleaned up before being turned over to me. They asked if they wanted me to have them clean it again, and I declined. They went ahead and cleaned it anyways and threw away my personal belongings, I couldn't believe it. They have a third-party company clean their vehicles and could not get my stuff back since it was thrown away. Brought the car back again because they did not take care of the warped rotors, so they replaced the front brake pads instead of looking at the problem. They did however attempt to correct the alignment of the suspension, and it was set properly. The tires are most likely the culprit for the vehicle pulling to one side (again should have been replaced at time of sale). We left the vehicle with them for a third time for brake issues, they replaced the rear brake pads which again is not related to the front rotors being warped. The rear pads were installed incorrectly. I had also asked for a list of items they performed before it was sold to me, but I have yet to receive it, not even sure if the oil was changed when they sold it to me. They also couldn't tell me which air filter was changed (cabin or air?). After dropping the vehicle off with them so many times and the dealer avoiding the issue, I couldn't afford to take any more time off of work for them to not address the issue. I would not recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from this company, let alone letting them service your vehicle when they couldn't correct an issue as important as brakes or as simple as properly balancing tires. 5 months into my vehicle ownership and less than 6,000 miles my engine has failed. They had someone call me to "feel out my attitude" and I haven't heard back from them since. You can see some of the other reviews here about the incompetent and incapable service department. Also the fact that they advertise a low price for their used vehicles and then try to get you to pay for the repairs so the car is road-worthy is a joke. I failed to see the signs and can only hope everyone who sees this takes this review seriously and save your time and money and buy from a reputable dealer who isn't Mark Kia and Mark Mitsubishi. Hello, I am Melody Epperson. I purchased a 2013 Kia Optima Ex on November 18. 2013. I worked with Ron Ellis and Dublin. They were great. I received a great year-end bargain on the Optima EX and I lo Optima Ex on November 18. 2013. I worked with Ron Ellis and Dublin. They were great. I received a great year-end bargain on the Optima EX and I love it. Everyone at Mark Kia are kind people (including Jason Krupa) and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a Kia. I went back to get the rear spoiler put on it and also had my 3750 mile oil change and the the people at the service department are great also. I always enjoy going back. Everyone is so friendly. If I was to purchase another Kia down the road it would definitely be at Mark Kia. Ron Ellis and Dublin were absolutely great and fun to work with. Thanks for everything!! More

I visited Mark Kia Scottsdale with my 16 year old son in tow, neither of us with any car buying experience whatsoever. Needless to say I was very nervous that I would get taken advantage of by some slick ca tow, neither of us with any car buying experience whatsoever. Needless to say I was very nervous that I would get taken advantage of by some slick car salesman. To my surprise and delight I was met at the front door by a polite and calm salesman named JUAN RODRIGUEZ who immediately picked up on my hesitation to even be there. My entire experience from the minute he introduced himself until I drove off the lot with an amazing used car for my son at a steal of a price was nothing short of FANTASTIC!!!! He answered a million and one questions that I had and kept working with us for 6 long hours until we found the perfect car for my son and he worked tirelessly to get me the price I wouldn't budge from at the payments I could afford. I thought It couldn't possibly get any better until I came in the next day to give him the title on my sons old truck and he informed me that he had some great news for me, they had resubmitted my loan application and got me and even lower interest rate at 4.3% !!!! I rely on customer service reviews for everything I purchase and I want to tell anyone that wants to purchase a new or used car and have a wonderful, fun, fair and stress free experience, GO SEE JUAN RODRIGUEZ AT MARK KIA SCOTTSDALE. sincerely Janet Vaughn More
In mid August my wife decided that she wanted a new Outlander Sport. We hopped on to auto trader and found the exact one she wanted. It was located in Glendale at Mark Mitsubishi. Since they had the lo Outlander Sport. We hopped on to auto trader and found the exact one she wanted. It was located in Glendale at Mark Mitsubishi. Since they had the lowest price I called and made sure the vehicle was indeed there and confirmed the price was indeed real. The young man (Ray I think) was quite polite and went to confirm the vehicle was there and the price was the price. I set an appointment for that weekend since I have two kids and live on Tempe mesa border and could not make it down that night. I called Ray back and asked him to please call me if that vehicle sells since we don’t really live close. He agreed to do so. The next day my wife called the Scottsdale store since they were showing a similar model in stock and they are only about 15-20 minutes from us. My wife said she spoke to some fleet Manager (his name eludes me since I did not call) and asked if they would match the price of the one in Glendale. My wife explained that we are about halfway between Big Two and the Scottsdale store but found the listing in Glendale. Just to save the time of travel and not wait until the weekend she asked if they would match the price. The guy she spoke to asked for the number of the car in Glendale. He said it was actually in Scottsdale right now because they had an appointment on it. I should have taken this answer as a warning. According to my wife they Manger said “I can’t blame you for not wanting to bring your family to Glendale. I would be afraid for my kids too”. That comment just struck me as odd since they are the same company. The guy she spoke to asked for the number of the car in Glendale so he could verify pricing. He said it was actually in Scottsdale right now because they had an appointment on it. He did promise to match the price. I was a bit confused when my wife told me that because I just called the other location a day before and asked to be called if it was not there. I showed up the next day, Thursday, and we were greeted by a terrific young man full of energy. I told him that my wife is on her way with the kids and she spoke to someone last night about the Outlander Sport. I filled him in on color and pricing. He takes off for a few minutes and tells me that the Manger is not there but he found the notes and would help me out. I did not mind as long as he was up to date on the deal. I hate to negotiate on the lot and feel pressured. He assured me he was up to speed and he would pull the car up. About 15 minutes go by and he is still not back. By this point my family has met me at the store and getting excited for the car. The young man comes back and tells me he is having trouble finding the car. He invites me to walk with him and pick one I find. As we are walking I cannot find the one my wife wants. She hates blue and red, she just wanted white. So finally another person comes out with the young man who is helping us. He asked why we want a Mitsubishi. I told him my wife liked it. He then tries pushing a Kia on us. At first I was open to the idea of a different car. My wife started getting frustrated though a and just asked for the original White one we were there for. The new person to the conversation says “It might be on the roof. I don’t know” No I do not know if they really have the cars on the roof or not or if he was just being sarcastic, but wife did not respond well and took the kids back to the car and let me do the looking while she waited. Now this is where things started getting weird(er). They guy starts telling me that we really should buy a KIA and if we tell his boss we saw it on some special web site (I forget what he said it was called) we could buy the car below invoice. Well this would be great if my wife wanted a KIA. The guy starts telling me how Mitsubishi is no longer going to be carried there soon and we should reconsider our choice. By this point I was frustrated because the car was missing. My wife had our two kids sitting in her watching a movie on a tablet. I just felt like I was duped. I had my wife call the Glendale store anonymously and ask to see if it was there. She did find out it was there still. I checked my phone and it showed on their site as well. I told the salespeople that the kids were hungry and we were calling it a night. Now I decided that no matter what I was not driving all the way to Glendale. If that store was like this store I could not handle it. Plus, I just could not fathom giving that company any of my hard earned money. Needles to say I called Big Two the next day and talked with someone. I gave him the price of Glendale. He looked it up online while I was on the phone. He said it isn’t pretty but he would do it. I went down there on Friday by myself. Found the car in two minutes. I asked him to draw the numbers up before my wife came. They were exactly as promise. They added a charge for tint. Oh well. My wife came down and we were gone in 45 minutes in our new Outlander Sport. More

What can normally be a daunting experience--buying/leasing a car--became a pure delight. David Archuletta answered every question I posed with patience and clarity. But, more impo experience--buying/leasing a car--became a pure delight. David Archuletta answered every question I posed with patience and clarity. But, more importantly, he made every effort to find the right vehicle--in my case, a Kia Forte EX. In fact, the whole crew at Mark Kia carried out their job in a very professional manner. Thank you all, again!!! More
By far this is the worst costumer service experience that I have ever had. I am literally the only person in the dealership and there are countless people "working" yet I keep being told, "10 more minutes".. I have ever had. I am literally the only person in the dealership and there are countless people "working" yet I keep being told, "10 more minutes"...that was over an hour and 15 minutes ago! The kicker is, they car is paid for and I was informed that it would be ready yesterday! The sales rep that is spouting his xx about time frames and car information is clearly not informed or capable and should not be supervising a cat let alone sales personnel. This place is a mess and had the car not been so well priced I would never step foot in this mismanaged xxxx hole again! I finally got in the car that was being detailed for over an hour after already being ready and it's dusty, scratched and the areas where they repainted have not even been properly buffed! Half-assed does not even describe the work ethic at Mark Kia!! More
After spending our time to choose cars on their site, and do financing over the phone, the sales guy just pawned us off on some other guy ( he said was his brother ) who did not know a thing about us (he cal do financing over the phone, the sales guy just pawned us off on some other guy ( he said was his brother ) who did not know a thing about us (he called us "the deal") the guy behind us was on the phone talking badly about his customers, the lady at the desk was smacking away on a bag of pop corn and the place was over dirty and reminded of me being crammed into a clown car. This place is the worst! We left there shaking mad and promise to give them a nice birdy everytime i drive by There is more to this story, but the point is that we left that mad as xxxx and ended up buying an brand new car somewhere else that very same day. The 36 month lease was up on our 2011 Kia Sorento EX and we decided to trade it in on another brand new Kia lease. I searched a myriad of Kia Dealership websites for inventory, price and customer service an we decided to trade it in on another brand new Kia lease. I searched a myriad of Kia Dealership websites for inventory, price and customer service and I made the decision to call Mark Kia in Scottsdale, AZ after finding the right vehicle at the right price. A woman named Jenna, answered the phone and she was very cordial and friendly. I asked to speak to someone in sales and a salesman named, Cameron Buck, answered the call. I am glad to say that from the vey first conversation with Cameron over the phone that the third check mark was fulfilled (customer service). Cameron was polite, friendly and compassionate towards all my inquiries and requests. He answered my questions quickly, accurately and in detail. I spoke to Cameron multiple times over a 3 to 4 day period before driving 140 miles to go see him and make the deal on our new 2013 Kia Soul Exclaim. We got the vehicle we wanted, for the price we wanted, with the terms we wanted, and it was even more loaded-up with options than we could have ever imagined! He was never pushy and never gave me the all-too-common...sales pitch! He listened to what my wife and I wanted and remained engaged, informative, and extremely helpful throughout the entire transaction, from start to finish, and even followed-up after the sale to make sure we were happy and problem free. Reflecting on this experience, I realize that Cameron wanted to build a lasting relationship with my family and I truly appreciate his demeanor, ethics and amazing customer service. He was concerned about my wife and I being happy and well informed with our purchase, first and foremost, and his approach was greatly appreciated and the reason I am writing this review. My wife enjoyed speaking with Jenna, who was in the Business Development Department. She made my wife feel extra comfortable during our visit there, and was compassionate and friendly. I have purchased and/or leased a lot of vehicles over the years, and this is my fourth Kia. This was the greatest sales and purchase experience I have ever had. I highly recommend the Kia product to anyone. I highly recommend Mark Kia Dealership for your Kia purchase and I can't say enough superior, quality comments about our salesman, Cameron Buck. If you are looking to purchase or lease a new or used vehicle I urge you to please give this guy a call. He will make the car buying experience fun, exciting, and seamless. I can't wait to buy or lease my next Kia from him. Thank you so much to Mark Kia, management and staff, and especially a generous "Kudos" to Cameron Buck. An overall amazing experience! More
