BROKEN PROMISES? ! Received an email signed by the GM with the subject line 'dealership fake pricing' where he describes how some dealers give you one price before ! Received an email signed by the GM with the subject line 'dealership fake pricing' where he describes how some dealers give you one price before you arrive at the dealership, and then hit you with additional fees via dealer add-ons in the thousands at the last minute, when you arrive at the dealership. Included in the email was the below verbiage: "At Mark Kia we deal in honest numbers and we will never charge or hide fees for things that are unnecessary or unwanted. In fact, the only thing we put on some cars is window tint. What we quote you is what you'll actually pay and we promise the price won't change when you arrive at our dealership." When I was presented with the offer at the dealership, sure enough, they had added thousands of dollars in dealer add-ons. They did exactly what the email warned other dealers would do. Very brazen, I must admit. I attempted to contact the General Sales Manager & GM to discuss my experience--and make sure I didn't misunderstand something, but neither returned my calls. More
