Brought my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV into the dealership for a recall on the back up camera, an oil change and tire rotation. During the work on the recall, the tech removed the plastic trim pieces and the for a recall on the back up camera, an oil change and tire rotation. During the work on the recall, the tech removed the plastic trim pieces and the one holding the button to close the hatch fell onto the floor. In doing so the button broke and was not caught until I arrived home, 45 minutes away when I went to close the hatch after putting my wheel lug locks back into the trunk. I called Jared to report the situation and also sent an email to Ashley regarding the situation. I talked with her and Jared both by phone to tell them what had happened and that I would be needing a repair for the button since it was no longer working. I brought the car back into the dealership so they could 'look' at the button to which I could see the techs were frustrated in the shop, throwing my trim pieces all around the trunk, and having multiple techs and both service writers witness the situation. This is not the first issue I have had with this service department but the first time I have left a review, just very disappointed in the department. These cars are not cheap and to see them not respected by the service techs is frustrating. Also the lack of follow through on the service department when they say they would have the part overnighted and give me a call when it arrived. My appointment was Friday February 6th, it is now Tuesday February 10th and still have not received a phone call. At this point after two bad experiences at this location and another at a different Hyundai dealership I am losing trust in the Hy More
