I previously bought a vehicle 5 months earlier from another dealership and I was very unsatisfied with the vehicle so i decided to trade it in memorial day weekend. I chose Maus Nissan because my credit wasn't the best and i heard the ads on the radio, tv, etc advertising Maus Nissan so i decided to give it a shot. I was extremely pleased with my service and highly recommend this dealership to everyone!! Keith was the one helping me with the financing and he was extremely helpful and cared about actually trying to get me in a car. I was able to get my first brand new car and it was all because the team at Maus Nissan actually cared enough to do whatever it took to get my in a vehicle. Samantha Williams was my sales rep and what an amazing positive woman! she really took the time to listen and understand me and what my needs and wants were and her service was probably the most amazing service ive ever had at a dealership! Absolutley Awesome with every person I dealt with at Maus! On April 30th I went to Ferman Chrysler Jeep of NPR. I was attempting to get out of a 2010 Town and Country Touring Sedan I had purchased from them 2 On April 30th I went to Ferman Chrysler Jeep of NPR. I was attempting to get out of a 2010 Town and Country Touring Sedan I had purchased from them 2 years ago. I have an automobile experience behind me, from selling New Oldsmobile's to selling New Cadillac's, 2 years at each dealership, prior to one year as a New Car Sales Manager at Dimmitt Jeep/Eagle in Tarpon Springs in 1989. Ferman had laid me away on a 2010 used vehicle at 24% interest rate with Chrysler. My payments were $308.00 a month, automatically paid through my account for two years. I went to purchase a Jeep Cherokee that had a $5,500 rebate, to overcome my upside down trade. They told me I would need to go with a Dodge, I said okay, and drove the car! I had told them $500 down! They told me, if I would give them another $2,500 down, Chrysler would welcome my business at only 16.5% interest! I stood up, and said you are out of your mind, see ya, I am going across the street to Nissan. in walking out my sales person said will you tell me if you buy a vehicle, and I said in a heart beat! I went across the street to Maus Nissan! Upon arrival I was greeted by a very nice man Sabas Fiqveroa. I explained to him I am here to do business different than the way he has been trained! I told him I needed to start with the new car Sales Manager. He brought me in, and introduced me to an awesome sales manager by the name of Troy. We conversed, seams we both came from Michigan. I told him of my Automobile back ground, and what I had just been through across the street, and what I was attempting to accomplish. We got along very well! He explained that Sabas was new, and he was going to have Alain Garcia help Sabas show me a SUV that was what I was looking for. Needless to this point all three employees were beyond belief in knowledge, as well as courtesy! I must say when I was explained the numerous features of the Rogue, not to mention the pleasure of the drive, as well as the power of a 4 cylinder with awesome fuel economy, I was sold! We went inside to see what we could do. We had some negotiation, but in all I was happy with the $500 down, $618.00 per month, for 72 months. When I met with the F & I guy, he would not be sure of interest until the next day, but he was looking at 9.5% interest. I said that would be fine. He then told me to open a savings and loan account, and in 6 to 8 months, I could probably get a much lower interest rate. In parting, he said he would let me know how it comes down with Nissan. The next day I got a call from Alain, asking if I could stop by and sign a paper with F& I, and I said yes, the next day I would be there about 11:00AM, and he said wonderful. The next day on my there I was anticipating the worst, but instead I was blown away with awe! I met with a lady, and she told me she had good news! I said wow! She went on to tell me the vehicle was reduced an additional $2,000, and Nissan was giving me the 2.9% interest rate, so I said what is my payment now? She said, it stays at $618.00, but in lieu of 72 months, that will be for 60 months! Wow, I have never seen anything like this happen in my 5 years in the industry. I felt that the New Car Sales Manager Troy had something to do with the transaction! Regardless, I am so impressed with Maus! I had had a Nissan Xtera that I dearly loved, and I had to part it with it when I was leaving a few years prior. I brought it to Maus, and it had 110 thousand miles on it, and they gave me the balance owed on the SUV, that blew me away! I never forgot that! I was just a fool for not buying from Nissan two years ago! Thank you so very much! By the way my Rogue really put the Dodge I drove to shame. In closing I might mention to future buyers, the Finance Lady told me in the future, no matter how bad my credit is, as long as I make my Nissan payments on time every month, Nissan would never increase my interest rate1 More
