Customer focussed service After extensive research, the Mazda 3 was high in my shortlist of compact cars to test-drive. The Costco Auto Program connected me to Mazda of Elk Gro After extensive research, the Mazda 3 was high in my shortlist of compact cars to test-drive. The Costco Auto Program connected me to Mazda of Elk Grove. I was promptly contacted by Gerlie Fevidal who set up an appointment for a test-drive. Gerlie was with another customer when I checked in and her colleague, Jaik Willmon, assisted me. After listening to what I was looking for in a new car, Jaik went over the features of the redesigned Mazda 3 and its technology. We took a test drive that allowed me to adequately evaluate the vehicle’s handling and driver safety features. After returning to the dealership, Jaik showed me the Costco Member-Only price sheet, which specified the prearranged discount, applied to the invoice price. We were joined by the Sales Manager, Trent Smith and had an enjoyable discussion regarding the philosophy behind the exterior and interior redesign of the Mazda 3. After agreeing on a purchase price, I returned the next day to purchase my Mazda 3 sedan. Paperwork completed I was taken to the delivery area where my detailed Mazda 3 was waiting. Gerlie went over the salient features of the car and helped setup the Mazda Connect system before I drove away. When interacting with salespeople I look for those who listen, are knowledgeable and establish rapport. Gerlie, Jaik and Trent exemplified these characteristics. I look forward to enjoying Mazda of Elk Grove’s commitment to continued customer satisfaction in the years ahead. More

Would purchase from Nick Ishihara again. Our initial entrance onto the lot was met with a sales rep who mocked us when we informed him that we did not require any help, but from an older gent Our initial entrance onto the lot was met with a sales rep who mocked us when we informed him that we did not require any help, but from an older gentleman that helped us, to Nick Ishihara, our sales rep, and finally to Deannah Mass, who finalized the paperwork, everything turned out to be great. We were looking at the 2019 Mazda Miata and Nick explained the car’s features and was very patient with our questions. We test drove the club and touring model and found that we liked the touring model the most. However, we wanted to purchase a pearl white car with the Napa brown leather seats. Nick looked through the computer system and found that they had one in stock but it was still at the port in Oakland. We said that we would purchase it but needed to have it here tomorrow (Sunday) since we would not be able to pick it up for a couple of weeks since we were leaving for a cruise to Alaska the following Friday and we lived in Nevada. Nick said that he could get it for us and have it ready by 2pm the next day. He said that we could put a small deposit on it and if he brought it down and we found that we didn’t like it, that we could get our deposit back. We filled out some of the paperwork, provided the deposit, and told him to call when the car was ready to be looked at. We found a hotel and had a nice dinner and did some things in the morning while we waited for his call. He sent a text with photos of the car and we were pleased and told him that we were excited to see it when it was ready. He called about 2 pm to let us know that everything was ready. We drove back to the dealership and checked out the car. We were happy to see that it was everything that we had hoped for. We told Nick that we wanted to go forward and get the car. Nick took us over to see Deannah Mass in finance and she was great. She was in the Marines and we retired from the Navy, so we had some things in common. We finished up with the paperwork and she took us over to see Nick. He went over everything in the car and eventually we were ready to leave and drive back to Nevada. Nick called a few days later, along with Elk Grove Mazda reps to see how things are with the car. Due to work, getting ready for the trip, and being on the trip with limited phone access, we were not able to verbally speak with them. We have been very impressed, not only the car (which is super fun to drive) but with the whole process. Other than the first sales person, Nick and Deannah were wonderful to work with and we would gladly do so again. We highly recommend seeing them for your needs. More
