Avoid the Orland Park dealership when purchasing a Mazda Over the past 20 years, I have purchased 4 Mazda, for my mother, from the Mazda dealerships in Orland Park Illinois but this was the first one from th Over the past 20 years, I have purchased 4 Mazda, for my mother, from the Mazda dealerships in Orland Park Illinois but this was the first one from the CJ Wilson dealership. Based on my recent experience with the Mike Hackett's sales team, it was the last car I will purchased for this Mazda dealership. Per appointment, I arrived the dealership on 30 Dec to purchase a Mazda 3 i Grand Touring sedan for my mother. Within the first ½ hour, I had decided on a blue Mazda 3 i Grand Touring sedan and asked the Moe (sale rep) to work up the numbers. I shared an emailed estimate from another CJ Wilson dealership and a CarMax estimate on my trade-in (2013 Mazda 3 Sport). The following events occurred that made me question the integrity of the dealership and makes me question why I purchased a vehicle. • The sales team challenge the validity of the emailed estimate not once but twice and finally offered a price $200 higher than the estimate. • The sales team offer $500 less for the trade-in and tried to convince me it was a great deal since it would reduce my sales tax. (This proposal was also in contradiction to the information provided in a letter from Jack Howe (Sales Manager) that stated Mazda needed 2013 Mazdas and that Mazda would provide top dollar for the 2013 trade-in!!) • Approx. 2.5 hours after entering the dealership, and agreeing on the CarMax estimate for the trade-in, I was informed that a blue 2016 blue Mazda 3 i Grand Touring sedan was not available in the Chicagoland area! • The sale team then indicated a 2015 demo Mazda 3 i Grand Touring sedan; the total cost was discussed in broad strokes and nothing was shared in writing. I indicated the numbers sounded reasonable. I left about 3.0 hours, tired, hungry and a disgusted with plans to return the next day to finalize the process. The following occurred the next day (31 Dec) • I found out the dealership demo car was a certified used car owned by the dealership. • Although I was assured all discounts had been applied, the certified used car did not qualify for discounts (not even the Mazda loyalty discount). • The trade-in value had been decreased by approx. $200. After much discussion, the agreed to trade-in price was re-instated. • I was informed the price of the certified car was set by Mazda and was not negotiable. Since I had a prior urgent appointment, I quickly finished the process. After I left the dealership, I realized gas tank was almost empty, the previous owner’s preferences was still in the car’s computer system and the manuals were missing. I purchased the car from the Orland Park dealership since it is the closest dealership to my mother's home but I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Great Experience at CJ Wilson Orland Park I hate going to dealerships. I intended to do most of my recent car purchase online. This dealership's website displayed the current inventory, and al I hate going to dealerships. I intended to do most of my recent car purchase online. This dealership's website displayed the current inventory, and all the details of each car. Most other sites just had a very brief description of the car. However, I think they could post a few more photos in the vehicle page. All correspondence with the salesperson was done via email, and she responded and answered my questions quickly and thoroughly. Other dealerships took a while to respond, and often wouldn't answer my specific questions. They just wanted to know when I was coming in to buy a new car. I selected the car and applied for credit before I ever went to the dealership. When I arrived, all I had to do was test drive it, inspect it, and sign the paperwork. It was a very easy transaction and overall a pleasant experience. More

Amazing car buying experience! I am normally not one to write reviews on businesses (unless I have a terrible experience). This is probably the second or third positive review I hav I am normally not one to write reviews on businesses (unless I have a terrible experience). This is probably the second or third positive review I have ever written. However, this dealership truly deserves it. My husband and I had been in the market for a new car since May 2015. We were so hesitant to begin the experience because we had a terrible experience at another dealership (not a Mazda dealership). However, my 04 Liberty wasn't cutting it and we needed something a bit more updated! I walked in to your dealership and was immediately greeted by Izzy. She answered all my questions and truly cared about my "wants" in a new car. Izzy was extremely thorough in going through the car with me prior to my test drive. After driving the car, I couldn't wait to begin the purchasing aspect. My husband and I came back to the dealership and immediately asked to work with Izzy. She had paperwork drawn up and we were in and out of the dealership faster than we expected and with our beautiful 2016 Grand Touring- CX-5. I absoutely love my new car and had I allowed my fear of buying a car keep me from meeting Izzy and walking into your dealership, I would still be driving my 04 Liberty! Thank you again to Izzy and all of the employees at the C.J Wilson Mazda, you have definitely earned a customer for life! More

I bought my car at the Countryside location and everyone there made it an easy and ex I always have a great experience at CJ Wilson at both locations. I bought my car at the Countryside location and everyone there made it an easy and exciting experience. Since then I go to the Orland location for all my service needs. Oscar is super nice and never pushes any service on me just educates me on what's best for my car! I have enjoyed every experience I've had here and would recommend CJ Wilson Mazda highly More
