Awful first visit. Helpful Return My husband and I were shopping around to find our son a replacement car due to being hit and having his car totaled. On Sunday, April 8th, we went into this Nissan with a nice young man Ivan Madellin. Everything was going great until James Griffin interfered. We did not ask or need his assistance coming in trying to fast talk and acting like he is the head man to make things happen. What disrespect to a new comer Ivan and to his customers right in front of him. He was very rude to my husband. My husband asked to have the tires all the same on the Nissan Versa we were looking at. The present tires were two different brands. The next day on Monday, he got an attitude on the phone and said "I told your wife we were not going to change the tires". He was recorded as he asked my husband what could he do to make him happy. Well he was not asking for you to buy the tires, you have plenty of Versa's on the lot and in stock you could have changed two tires with to match the other two Continental tires that were already a matching pair. You guys make switches all the time on car lots. What a way to almost miss a sale and to speak to anyone with such a tone especially an Army Veteran in such a way. A letter was written via email regarding this behavior to Internet Sales Manager Richard Polk who has not reached out to us to address the behavior of this staff member to date. Richard do not reach out to us now that this review is out in the open, we do not care to contact you or talk to you about anything now to save face for this review or your unprofessional staff member. You just sit back and continue to be quiet. *****Five stars for Ivan and James Howze who came through for our son on Thursday, April 12th. If it wasn't for Ivan's continuous calls to our son to come back in and settle things, I could care less but the car was not for us. Our son would have the final say, he was the one making the cash purchase. Ivan was not there by the time we arrived to pick up the car on Thursday, April 12th, but a nice gentleman by the name of James Howze was and he was the most professional, genuinely caring person you ever want to do business with. If you ever decide to go to this dealership, I will not for my personal experience and I already have a Nissan. Please give your business to James Howze or Ivan Madellin. Do not let James Griffin who thinks he is the smooth operator to interrupt your business. Oh, and let me tell you he tried to have his name on the paperwork ahead of Ivan as if he made the sell. No, I told James Howze I did not want him to take this sell from him and Ivan. They are the ones who assisted our son. What a shame James Griffin trying to take the credit and money away from a new team member. You have not gotten away with anything James Griffin!, God sees all! More
