I entered the Route 2 Hyundai dealer hoping to buy a new car. I have had some finincial difficulties in the last few eyars and was desparate to get out of a 2003 minivan. I wasn't sure if my credit would allow me to purchase a new car but I tried anyway. I first called ahead and spoke with Samantha who was very friendly and understanding when I told her my objective. I was approved over the phone and headed to your dealership. I met with Adam Mician who was great! He was as enthusiastic as i was and I ended up purchasing a 2012 Elantra. Adam made my experience a very good one. I am loving my new Elantra and will definitely return to Route 2 Hyundai in the future. Thanks a bunch! P.S. I also got to bang a gong !! More

I will never buy another Hyundai again. I will be selling my 2012 Elantra as soon as I get a new job. This dealership lies about its exterior protection packages. I was told "this package will cover thing my 2012 Elantra as soon as I get a new job. This dealership lies about its exterior protection packages. I was told "this package will cover things like having a car door opened into yours." I live in an apartment complex so of course someone opened a door into my passenger side door. I called to make an appointment with them and was told first "we do not have a body shop" on the phone and later when I brought it in "the protection package does not cover scratches." Really? It would be nice if that was mentioned AT ALL when you buy the car. Who on Earth would waste $9/mo on something that doesn't even cover scratches? No one, that's who. I was told "well we'll try to buff the scratch and wash the car, but we won't do anything about actual scratches." Talk about a waste of my money and time. Talk about a worthless protection plan. Also the 2012 Elantra's EPA mileage sticker is a complete lie. Mine after 6000mi is lucky to hit 28mpg on a sticker listed at 29/40. Even on weeks where I was at least 50% highway driving I was lucky to hit 28.5mpg. I've never even sniffed 30mpg. The car's sticker is a lie and the dealership's "external protection" package is a complete lie. Do not shop at Route 2 Hyundai. Their staff is friendly, but that's the only nice thing I can say.
