The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

My lease was ending so it was time to get rid of the car. I was over on miles for the lease too, so I was worried about how things would turn out. Third time buyer at McGrath of St. Charles I live in Sycamore and work in Rockford so there are local dealerships available to me in both towns, but I prefer the sales and service at McGrath. I bought my first CR-V over ten years ago and just replaced it yesterday. We also bought an Odyssey Touring last year from McGrath. Their staff and service can't be beat.
