6 STRIKES enough to leave? .....i can't go back. (should have listened to my gut after 3 strikes). 1. Oil Change/Tire Rotation on Wrangler (which i bought here) - failed to t .....i can't go back. (should have listened to my gut after 3 strikes). 1. Oil Change/Tire Rotation on Wrangler (which i bought here) - failed to tighten lugs on one wheel, luckily I caught it and took it to McClarty Nissan and their tech torqued it an checked all others. 2. After failure #1, very next service (Oil Change and Tire Rotation) - From their bay to my house, my entire Jeep leaked out all of the new oil. Made a mess of my jeep. Jeep smoking in the driveway, trail of oil for 5+ miles. They towed it back, redid the oil change.....didn't comp anything.....gave me excuses of why it happened. 3. After 2 attempts to detail the bottom of jeep from all of the oil, finally had to take it to a professional to clean it all up. Even after the 2nd attempt from the dealer, I had oil all over my shocks and shock boots. 4. The fourth visit is a doozey. Have an issue that Norms identifies, but dealership is the only place to get said part. Set up appt with MD Service to bring it in and fix it. Talk to the rep 2-3 times the day of including when i was about 2 mins out he called to ask if i was on the way. Show up, stand in front of the same rep....that i just talked to.....and once he knew my name, he asked what i was there for......(we literally just talked about it on the phone 2 mins ago).......they take my car back, fix it, same rep calls me back.....asks me who i am again and what they did to my Jeep.......then hands me the wrong paperwork, says I'm good to go, and hands me the wrong keys........get my car finally......tech didn't even latch my hood down. A simple task that should be on any checklist. 5. 7:30am appt for oil change/tire rotation. Drop my car at 7-7:30...go to work. No calls. Surely, it's done, it's 1pm, i get a ride to the dealership......not even taken into the bay yet. This is when I started telling them that i was staying in the lobby, and not "dropping off". Seems to get a little more urgency. After telling myself to avoid this place, I made a mistake and bought from them again. (Sales team was great by the way)....but then Service....... 6. I learned yesterday, from my service advisor, that an 8:30am appt isn't an appt to get your car serviced. It's only the time you check in your car. We had an 8:30 yesterday. Oil Change/Tire Rotation. 2024 Grand Cherokee.....oil change....simple. They come out and tell my wife, at 9:40am that they can't get the oil cap off from the last oil change. The car has only had 2-3 oil changes, which they did both. Tell my wife they may have to take it to their Springdale shop and it could be a few hours. End up getting the oil cap off......change oil.....put the old oil cap back on. But charged me fully for a New Oil Filter Housing Unit and the shop supplies for the "repair". So today I contact them, and Ty (Service Manager) relays to me through the service advisor that i can either 1) Get a credit towards my next oil change (there won't be one here)......OR, i can bring the car back and they will put the new cap on. I ask them to refund the card for the parts, and was told that Ty instructed it's one of the 2 options. I ask again to refund the card and they say I need to bring the card up to them so they can do the refund. First, their tech is the one that got it stuck, so if they did have to replace it, i shouldn't have to pay for that......but to charge me and put the old part back on is ridiculous. Then act like it's the 1900's and they cant refund the card without the card being present is absurd. None of these were complicated fixes......pretty much all (except 1) oil change/tire rotation. So for that, i will make sure to tell everyone i know how poorly run this service Dept is. More
I was on my way home from Branson MO and remembered Allen Cotner had suggested I stop in to see if they had a truck I liked. I found one just like I wanted for my dad. I didn’t have time to complete the deal because I wanted my dad to see it first, but got back on the road because I had a couple hundred miles to go before being home. As I drove, I thought a lot about it and the price quoted. My salesman Michael Frazier I believe, was great and Allen Cotner, who suggested I stop and look at the inventory, both helped me. I texted Allen several times and the next day I decided to drive back to Bentonville with my dad and get the truck. I’ve bought several vehicles from McLarty Daniel dealerships, but this is my first to buy at the Ram dealership. Obviously everything was great or I would not have driven 400+ miles round trip to buy a vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealership and would definitely purchase another vehicle when the time comes. More
The Sales manager was a little difficult to work (honestly made me want to take my business elsewhere) with but our salesman Mike Frazier was outstanding!
