Mislead Purchased a used truck last week. On-line price had been raised by $800 from the day before, so after negotiating, still spent at least $400 more than Purchased a used truck last week. In addition, was shown a list of repairs that had supposedly been done on the truck while it was in the lot, which I subsequently have found was not accurate. For starters, it claimed that the cabin air filters had been replaced. The truck had a very strong smell of a masking perfume, presumably used to cover up the smoke from previous owner. This was so cloying that we decided to have the interior steam cleaned and ozonated to actually remove the smell. The company I contacted to do that suggested checking that the cabin air filters actually had been replaced, and when I took them out, they obviously had not been -- they were dirty and even installed upside down. Makes we wonder if the other work on the list was done either. More
