High pressure sales and no customer service call backs. When I sat down with my salesman he asked several times and pressuring me to give him my budget even though I told him I was not able. When I did throw out a number he turned up his nose and scoffed at me saying "now how do you think we can get to that"? So I left...only to have him text me to blame me for misunderstanding his excitement for high pressure. Customer Service rep called the next day but when I called him back leaving two messages he won't call me back. So I assume they already sold the truck I was looking at and figured me for a lost customer. I called for a third time to ask for the customer service rep by name and the secretary said she hadn't seen him today (figuring he was on vacation) so I told her I was unhappy that he hasn't called me back to have her pause and say "Ok?" As that was normal. After a long pause, and no apology for the curtesy call back, she said "so do you want to talk with anyone else?" Nope! I'll take my business elsewhere. More

We recently broke down in South Dakota and our repair bill k ept growing we decided to trade for a new pickup but were not happy with the dealership in Rapid city so we called Mel Hambelton Ford in Wichita and t ept growing we decided to trade for a new pickup but were not happy with the dealership in Rapid city so we called Mel Hambelton Ford in Wichita and talked to Stan and agreed to a deal at 9 pm on a Friday night the pickup was prepped with a 5th wheel hitch and a air lift system and delivered to us in Hot Springs South Dakota at 8am Sunday Stan had us call him at home and did everything possible to get us home and make us happy our thanks to him and all the help at Mel Hambelton and Bob the delivery driver they will definitely get our business More

I didn't have to wait long for Christie Gift to assist me but before I saw her, another sales associate asked if I wanted some lunch and helped me get a cheeseburger from the grill! Christie was amazing, she listened to my needs and made sure I got the best deals possible. Shawn Muth checked in on me and made sure I felt comfortable and helped me decide on The 2017 Ford Escape. Both he and Christie helped me sync my phone and made sure my gas tank was full. Austin also helped me print my school schedule for an additional rebate and made sure that I understood what I was signing. I have heard about how awful it can be buying a car but Mel Hambleton Ford was fun, inviting and made the whole process easy! My wife and I have been trying to get a different vehicle [used] for 7 mos, we had tried 8 other Dealerships to no avail. 7 mos. of struggling and yet within two and a half hours Bob had us in a brand new vehicle at a payment and price that we could afford and it was new, not used.
