I am very pleased with my new Focus. It was really easy dealing with Zak. I told him what I wanted and he got the deal for me I wanted and then some. Going from an F 250 Lariat to my new Focus was no hassl dealing with Zak. I told him what I wanted and he got the deal for me I wanted and then some. Sure I will miss my truck but I can't express to you how nice it was to go to Branson and back on $78. That same trip cost me $350 last year! No more will I need stock in Exxon to feel good about all the money I spent on fuel before my new Focus! More
This is my 3rd vehicle purchase (one collector car and 2 trucks) from this dealer, they are awesome! They are willing to deal with you and they treat women like they have a brain and with respect, not like trucks) from this dealer, they are awesome! I don't like their location (inconvenient from where I am), but they beat the heck out of any other dealer in town, so worth the drive from the other side of town! Zack Oakes by far put my mind at ease in regards to a car salesman. The first round I had with Rusty Eck put a bad taste in my mouth. Anthony Lester was by far the best and most honest salesman I have ever dealt with! Having just bought a mid-range Focus from Rusty Eck last October, (since I was told NO ONE ever carried high end mod salesman I have ever dealt with! Having just bought a mid-range Focus from Rusty Eck last October, (since I was told NO ONE ever carried high end models in the area by the untruthful staff there) I was extremely unimpressed with the treatment I received from them. I went to Mel Hambelton looking for a fully loaded Focus and found a car that was EVEN BETTER than I ever imagined. Anthony gave me an unbelievable deal in just a few minutes and easily let me trade in my other car while still coming out ahead. No other dealership would have ever done such a thing. My experience was so amazing that one of my co-workers even bought a vehicle from Anthony the following weekend. Mel Hambelton was a very interesting experience for my husband and I. We walked on to the lot in Wichita, Kansas with doubt and negativity. We had been through the experiences with buying a car or another vehicle for years. We had gone to places that would advertise "guarenteed" this and that for this much down and so forth. My husband and I don't have the greatest credit at all. Just like most of the regular people in the world. When my husband and I walked onto the vehicle lot we were approached by a very friendly representative. He asked what we were looking for and the price range we wanted to stay in. The represenative's name is Andrew White. Mr. White bounced a few models off of us as far as what we were interested in. He said elantra and I fell in love with the car after seeing it. I knew it was exactly the vehicle I wanted. We were in and out in 2 hours and with the finacial department for maybe 15 mins. All of the staff that we dealt with were kind, and did everything for us at the price we wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better buying experience! I was happy with my car until I got it home. Nothing but problems. Went to fill up and the gas cover wouldn't open. Had to pry open with my fingers. The window in the back rattles. The car veers to the right. Had to jump start it this morning as it wouldn't even start. Tried to take the vehicle back to trade for a GOOD car. You would have thought they would do anything to make things right. Even if that meant costing them out of pocket to make it happen. I don't live in Wichita. Had to make more trips then necessary to get the car in their shop to be worked on. How disappointing. One should feel great after the purchase of a car. It has been nothing but a stressful experience for us. Will never deal with this dealership again. I realize I am only one customer out of many that walk in that dealership. But every customer should be dealt with utmost importance. What a nightmare ! More
I was going to buy a Nissan but I just couldn't buy a foreign car. We knew Josh worked at Mel Hambelton and decided to look at the Ford Edge. Josh and our son went to school together so we felt comfortab foreign car. We knew Josh worked at Mel Hambelton and decided to look at the Ford Edge. Josh and our son went to school together so we felt comfortable with Josh from the start. Josh showed us every Edge on the lot with the low miles we wanted but they didn't have everything we wanted so we started looking at the new ones. We finally found what we wanted and came to an agreement. We couldn't take the Edge home that night because we had to take the wheels off our tradein. Josh was off the next day but he came in to make sure everything was taken care of. He spent time showing us some of the features of our Ford Touch. We are not very computer savvy and are still learing. The only recommendation I have would be for you to have a class on the Ford Touch. Ha! Ha! More
