As reported below, I am now a convert and will return! My lease was coming due. I cold-called the dealer and was put in touch with Anastasia Zbarskaya who immediately gave me a price far below what I was getting elsewhere. Everywhere else also gave me quite a run-around.... "let me get back to you.." "let me check with my manager...." "when can you come in.." I'm busy with work and family. I don't need to waste my time haggling with some dealership. This deal was smooth and was struck in minutes after she located a car. The day the car was ready, I went to MB Manhattan to drop off my old lease. (They took me out of the old lease early -- as is de rigeur with MB these days.) The new MB facility in NYC was spotless and futuristic, Staff was helpful and I will continue to sing the praises of Anastasia and MB Manhattan to anyone who will listen. She made sure that everything on the sticker was actually delivered with the car going so far as to get me all new weather mats out of the parts department!
