The customer selected this vehicle on our lot which was advertised and disclosed as a "Sport" model. However, the prior owner had changed some of the trim on to make it look like a "Luxury" model. We addressed the customer’s concerns and the customer has promised to update his review to say he was satisfied with how the matter was resolved.

Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis has reached out to this customer as well as pulled all paperwork from the transaction in August 2012. The vehicle in question was Maryland State Inspected by a licensed independent third party inspection station and was sold with warranty for engine and transmission coverage only, with the understanding that any other repairs outside of the warranty coverage offered would be the customer’s responsibility. The customer declined an offer for extended warranty coverage at the time of purchase and has not brought the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis for service since this date. The exhaust manifold issue, an item not covered by the 30-day engine and transmission warranty, was not present at the time of sale or reported until September 26, 2012. Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis takes great pride in providing excellent customer service and regrets that this issue has not been resolved. We would welcome this customer back to inspect and service their vehicle should they ever wish to do so in the future.
