We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience here at Mercedes-Benz of Cincinnati. It is our goal to provide excellent customer service to everyone that walks in the door. In this instance, as a policy, it is important to note that pre-owned cars cannot be held or reserved. Because there are several sales people employed at our store, it is not unusual for multiple sales people to have clients interested in a similar vehicle. The customer that purchased the pre-owned CLK you had expressed interest in did not show up by appointment and was not a client of Shane’s. Shane did call you as soon as he knew that the vehicle was going to be sold, and provided you as much notice as he possibly could. Shane then agreed to search for a similar vehicle for you, which we have been doing since that day. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find a comparable vehicle that has been available to us. It is important for all customers to understand that used cars are unlike new cars. They are unique, and often cannot be easily replaced. When shopping for a used car, be sure to bring all items necessary to complete the purchase. Because we do value our customers as much as we do, we will continue to uphold our policies and make sure that everyone has the same opportunity to purchase the vehicles we are offering for sale. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.
