It's A Beautiful Car This happened the last week of October 2019. During the process of purchasing a used high end vehicle from the dealership, I was informed that it had This happened the last week of October 2019. During the process of purchasing a used high end vehicle from the dealership, I was informed that it had been certified. Luckily, I insisted on taking the car to my own mechanic before purchasing. My mechanic found several issues with the car ranging from 1) Identifying where car had been in 2 accidents(not on carfax) and bad bondo work had been done in order to cover it up one of the areas(I never heard of bondo until this experience) 2) Water in rear tail light caused by back panel not aligning properly .. taillight assembly had been replaced twice from the carfax but the underlying issue was not fixed 3) Warped rotors causing pulsation when braking 4) Separation of front grill. All of these items had to be addressed and when I notified my salesperson, she said "We have master certified techs and does your mechanic have certification? Because he probably doesn't know what he's talking about." I told her, he didn't need any certification to see the problems wrong with this car. After getting her manager involved, they agreed to fix all of the problems. I went back a few days later to pick the car up and 2 of the main issues were not addressed. The salesperson tried to get me to drive the car home and bring it back in later which I refused. She tried to take advantage of me at every turn of the way. She kept saying, "Its a beautiful car" but she never said or did anything about several issues. I had to demand all issues be addressed. Instead of her asking how can we address your concerns, she basically attacked my mechanic and called him a liar. Buying a car should be a pleasant experience and you would expect the salesperson to go out of their way to ensure a good sale. This was by far the worse experience I have ever had in purchasing a car and I plan to never go to this salesperson again. Had it not been for the fact that I need another car, I would have never gone thru this experience. Update 1st Week of November 2019: The General Manager and a few other people from the dealership contacted me and were able to save my sale by stepping in and taking over the delivery and inspection part of my vehicle. They went out of their way to ensure that I was 100% happy and I'm very grateful for that. I have my car and I love it. More

From the first time I called Piotr Siemieniuk to inquire about a car, the follow up, preparation and knowledge of the staff was amazing. When I came in from out of state, the car was pulled up front, waiting for me, had been prepped and was ready to go home with me. I've bought at least a dozen cars in my lifetime and this is absolutely the first buying experience that felt really easy, comfortable and I feel like I got a great deal. Outstanding experience! Although I live 100 miles away from the Hoffman Estates dealer and probably pass 5-6 other Mercedes dealers on the way, I will go out of my way to work with this dealer and sales person again. More
