Jeff maybe the best salesman we have experienced to date. My husband does a fair amount of research, and was dimayed to find that he knew as much (or more in most cases) than the salesman. Not the case with Jeff. Not only was his product knowledge excellent, but he was very courteous and polite. His follow up was timely and appreciated. We must also mention Chris Schneidmiller. In not so many words "Chris saved the deal". Given that we could not find an existing GL to our liking, (Jeff tried very hard) we ordered a new 2015. Production delays nearly killed the deal. Jeff introduced us to Chris. Given Chris' courteous professionalism, understanding, and willingness to make us happy, we are now happy first time Mercedes owners. We will refer Tafel and Jeff in the future. P.S. We love the GL. More

The best car purchasing experience of all time! I typically purchase a new personal vehicle every two years which means I've purchased roughly 20 new vehicles thus far. I would like to personally thank David McNulty and the rest of the Tafel staff for making this one of the best car buying experience's ever. From the time I walked into the showroom floor until the time the ML350 was delivered it was a first class experience. Everyone who assisted me with the purchase was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. Then to take the buying experience to a whole new level, following the limited demo drive in the ML350 I told David it wasn't enough time to give me a good feel for the vehicle. A few days later David called and suggested I take a new ML350 for the weekend so I could see how it really performs. His only request was to limit the distance to less than 100 miles which was very reasonable. This gesture closed the deal for me. Thanks David! I have worked with many current and former dealerships in the Louisville area and all of those others should come take lessons on professionalism, courtesy and efficiency from the folks at Tafel. As repeat customers we sought out our former representative, Todd Cherry, for this buying experience. True to form, Todd made us feel welcome and worked with us at our pace with no pressure whatsoever. When it came time to complete the trade Jesse and Megan were absolutely wonderful to work with. This is the only dealership I have ever worked with where the initial trade offer on my current vehicle was almost spot-on what I truly wanted for the car. No hassle, no cat-and-mouse games, just straight forward "old fashioned" quick negotiating that culminates in a handshake and a happy customer. Easy, respectful, considerate, and quick. I wanted to buy from this particular dealer because they used common forms of communication people my age (20) use today, which made it a lot easier. Skylar went above and beyond and even helped me get insurance by suggesting companies that had a lower payment before I left the dealership.
