Use to be a great dealership Not sure what happened to this dealership they use to be great. I bought a car from them a Nissan Versa. I started to have a problem with water in the Not sure what happened to this dealership they use to be great. I bought a car from them a Nissan Versa. I started to have a problem with water in the floor of the car. Called they told me to keep the heat on for about an hour and that should fix the issue. I did that even brought it to the Nissan dealership because I had a warranty the Nissan dealership said they could fix this issue the car had been in an accident and put back together wrong. Told Merchants the next solution was to wait for the Water doctor. I told them I don't feel safe in this car especially since this didn't show up on the carfax report. They did get me into a new car but I had to pay negative equity for something that wasn't my fault. Now I have had the current car for about two months and the car makes a sound when I go to stop occasionally. Brought it to a mechanic and they say it is not the breaks but the way the tire is touching the body. I have not bothered calling Merchants because I don't trust them anymore. More

The only thing I wished is that I was told they had spray painted the fender because of scuff damage. It is quite apparent that the fender was spray painted as the plastic flap protecting the undercarriage of the lower fender has drip marks where no paint should be. More

I worked with Lisa Petrucelli and she has better customer service skills than L.L. Bean. She listened to my needs and my son's needs and then showed us vehicles that fit our needs. I never felt that I was treated rudely or poorly because I am a woman/single parent. After finding the right car for us, I worked with Merchants finance department which was painless. They were honest and friendly in finding the best payment plan for me. After working with the finance department Lisa took us over to meet the wonderful service department. It was clean and friendly with really long service hours. It was then time to depart with our new vehicle. When we drove away my son said,"Mom it feels like Lisa is part of our family she should come home with us." I highly recommend Lisa Petrucelli and the entire Merchant team for an flexible, kind and family like atmosphere if you are deciding to purchase a vehicle. More
