It’s too late for your dealership to resolve the issue. He was relocating to a new job in Arkansas and this was known. The bottom line is you had the opportunity to address and resolve but you failed. Nothing can be done at this time. Use it as lessons learned.

Your salesperson has been in contact with you multiple times to try to resolve this but your busy schedule won't allow you to come in. The salesperson you insulted has offered to pay you $100 out of his own pocket to resolve this issue but you can't come in to get it. I’m sorry, but I have to disagree with you. Mike did finally respond and he did say that he would pay me out of his own pocket after I asked for the sales managers email or the owner. I also said “can someone please just send me a check then” and I received no reply again. I have been extremely patient and cordial. I even sat in the showroom for almost an hour while waiting for Mike. I have all email traffic between myself, Mike and Mark. Mark was extremely helpful and passed on the emails right away when I sent them. Below is a timeline of my correspondence with Michiana. This really has nothing to do with the $100 anymore. This is all about the principle behind it and the fact that I tried to make contact several times with no response. Looking at other reviews, it appears that I am not the only one this has happened too. I know that I didn’t but a $60,000 vehicle, but that shouldn’t have any impact on the customer service that is received by myself or anyone else. All I expected was to be treated with respect and that didn’t happen. After reading the timeline of events, please explain to me what I could have done better. I tried repeatedly to make contact with no response. I work at a nuclear power plant. Right now I am working 75 hours a week plus commute time. I start work at 5:30am and leave work at 6pm. I have one day a week off and I cannot spend this time driving 3-4 hours total to resolve this. What would Michiana Jeep like me to do to correct this issue? I treated everyone that I interacted with respectfully while Michiana continuously ignored my requests. -Bought an 09 Jeep Wrangler on 4/13/21 from Michiana Jeep and was charged $100 more than the agreed upon price. This was not realized until we got home and we were reviewing the paperwork. The agreed upon price was $17,900 and the price on the paperwork was $18,000. When we left the dealership, the check engine light came on approx. 10 miles down the road. P0420 code for Catalytic converter not performing optimally. Reset the code and it came in again approx. 10-15 miles down the road. The rear seat belt latch was broken. Mike said that he couldn’t get that part for some reason. I purchased one the next day on my own dime. Seatbelts should have been inspected as a key safety feature prior to the sale. -Went back to the Michiana Jeep on 4/15/21 and I brought it up to the attention of Mike Mabry. He agreed that this was wrong and that he would have to talk to the owner because he is the only one that can write out a check and he would get back with me. He never called. -Went back again to Michiana Jeep on 4/23/21 to sign for the title. I talked to Mike again and he said that the owner had left for an hour and he would talk to him when he got back and get a hold of me. He never called again. On 4/27/21 I sent an email though Michiana Jeep website and Mark Young replied promptly stating that I needed to call down there. I cannot make outside phone calls at work. He replied again and gave me Mike Mabry’s email address. -On 4/28/21 I sent an email to Mike Mabry trying to touch base again about the $100 difference. I received no reply from Mike and I gave him time to reply because I wasn’t sure if he was on vacation or not. -On 5/3/21 I emailed Mike Young again asking for the Sales Managers email or the owners email address to try to remedy this issue. -On 5/3/21 I finally got an email from Mike stating “I’ve spoke with the manager. Unfortunately he is not willing to do anything about it, but on the other hand I am. When you get a chance come in and I will give you $100 to make up for it. I’m sorry for the delay. I hope I can make things right to earn your business in the future”. -On 5/3/21 I replied to Mike stating that “I was confused on why the manager wouldn’t do anything about it. Either he/she is not willing to admit they were wrong or somone was just trying to slide it past me. I am working an outage at Cook Nuclear Plant and I’m working 12 ½ hours a day plus my commute time. I get one day a week off and I can’t make it down there anytime soon (that’s why I can’t even call). Can someone just mail me a check? I seriously can’t break away for the 3-4 hours it will take to drive down there on my day off. I’m still in the outage for another 3 weeks.” I received no reply from him again! -5/6/21 I left my review on dealerrater.com to inform every one of my frustration and to let everyone know my experience there. -There was response posted on 5/7/21 stating that I needed to call and talk to Jerrod Enyart. I did and he was surprisingly “not available”. The response also stated that “ The salesperson you insulted has offered to pay you $100 out of his own pocket to resolve the issue but you can’t come in to get it. Please remove this libel defamation or we will proceed with legal action against you”. I did ask Mike to send me a check and there was no response again. This was all over $100. This is not about the $100 anymore. This is about the principle of it. I have repeatedly been ignored and not responded to. I am also going to be out an additional amount of money to fix the code that keeps getting thrown from the computer of the Jeep and the seat belt that was broken. I am not sure what type of “legal action” you can pursue against me when everything I said in the review was fact. I have been extremely patient and cordial with this whole ordeal trying to give Mike and Michiana Jeep the benefit of the doubt that this was an honest mistake and that it would be taken care of. Once again, please pay me know what Michiana would like me to do to correct this. Driving down there is not an option. I’ve made 2 trips and I cannot make a third.
