Worked with Ray Martinez on the purchase of a new Grand Cherokee. I was straight up with Ray that I was shopping multiple dealers in the Denver area via email and he understood that. He was never pushy and always responsive as we traded emails, texts, and calls. He gave me his best price without much poking and prodding so I Pulled the trigger. We arrived took a quick test drive as they looked over our trade, filled out a few forms and were in financing shortly after. Ryan Stepisnik, in Finance, was fast and efficient and we cruised through that while having good conversation. Ultimately, Ray and the team at Mike Shaw were willing to get us the deal we wanted without any B.S. It seemed like they just wanted to get the deal done as easy and efficiently as possible which is exactly what I was looking for. Overall, great experience and worth the short road trip from Denver. I purchased a 2016 Ram 3500. I was also sold an Extended Warranty. I had the truck less then 2 months and less then 2,000 miles when check engine light came on. Transmission was not working properly. 13 Warranty. I had the truck less then 2 months and less then 2,000 miles when check engine light came on. Transmission was not working properly. 13 codes showed for transmission problems. I went through the process with the warranty company. The claim was denied due to “NonFactory” add-ons. Those items were on the vehicle when I purchased it, any future claims would also be denied. Worthless Warranty. I left 6 plus messages for the GM of Mike Shaw before I received a return call. The GM put blame on the Warranty company and said he would get back to me. Two more weeks have passed with me leaving 1-2 messages per day. No returned call , no resolution, only a Canceled Warranty. I will have to pay the entire cost of a new transmission. Post sale customer service has been terrible. More
After reviewing many of these reviews. I believe that communication is a significant area of deficit within the sales team. We went in to buy a new Jeep Wrangler last Saturday and ended up signing for a communication is a significant area of deficit within the sales team. We went in to buy a new Jeep Wrangler last Saturday and ended up signing for and financing for a dealer trade that was supposed to arrive the following Monday per Tyler Stoughton. He required us to not only sign the intent to buy, which is understandable, but told us that we had to fully finance and sign for the trade in order to secure the trade. We went through the long process and walked out believing that we would get the Jeep on Monday. On Monday, we received a phone call and texts with pictures informing us that the dealer that Mike Shaw was trading with had added several upgrades to the Jeep and that we needed to decide if we wanted the upgrades/Jeep. Remember- we already signed and financed. We went to the dealership to look at the Jeep and found out through the Sales Manager, Justin, that the Jeep that we signed for and financed for was never secured, wasn't coming and wasn't at the dealership at all. He did find another trade and he confirmed that this trade was secured and that it is coming from Gillette, WY. We have not agreed to purchase this new Jeep yet, but we have agreed to look at it. Many hours were wasted and lots of trust has been damaged by a sales representative who just wanted to make a sale and not build trust and faithful patron. We will see how Mike Shaw handles our upcoming experience. I do believe lots of work and training need to be focused on to weed out the negative sales representatives and sales experiences. In the end, the dealership recognized the issue and did make up for the poor sales tactics and wasted time by finding a replacement Jeep, taking almost 10K off the asking price and completing the sales contract with the Sales Manager. More

Service department I have purchased two vehicles from Elway dodge in Greeley. The sales staff has been great but service department is not. From the very first time I wa I have purchased two vehicles from Elway dodge in Greeley. The sales staff has been great but service department is not. From the very first time I walked in to get work done I have felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Service people seem like they are to busy to even say hello as they make eye contact and look back at there screens and papers. As was the case when I went in today to have a key made for my son's Durango. Once I was helped they sent me to the parts department who were friendlier at the start. I told them what I needed as was told I needed to show them proof of ownership to proceed. I told them I had the vehicle with me since it would need the key programmed. Then was told I would need service. Would of been nice if service asked those questions. I said I could get the registration and was told they needed the vin to see if they even had the key. Seemed like it was a problem for them to help me. I had checked with the Fort Collins dealership a month before and had no such issues on them doing it beside I didn't have the vehicle with me at that time. By this time I was fed up with the service and walked out. I will not return to this dealership for anything. This is third time I have been to this service department. None of the experiences have made me feel appreciated as a customer. More

I did the test drive with Taylor and all of the deal with Frankie Cisneros, Jr. Both of these guys did a great job of listening to my questions and getting me answers. Frankie called and texted me several times to find out how things were going and if I had any other questions. Frankie had all of the paperwork ready for me when I got to the dealership and the closing went pretty fast. I am very pleased with the vehicle and the process of purchasing it. I would highly recommend this dealership and Frankie! More
